Pros: Quick, convenient property to the airport. The room was clean. Not expensive. Free and plentiful parking. Cons: I had a very, very hard time communicating with the front desk person on the phone (I had a good cell connection, just the person on the other line was mumbling horribly and sounded barely lucid, like they were on drugs possibly; it wasn't an accent issue), some people down the hallway kept slamming the door repeatedly during the night waking us up, and the landscaping around the property was mostly dead and the exterior of the hotel appeared to be damaged in places and in bad shape. Oh well, you get what you pay for. We only needed to be close to the airport for an early flight for one night.

Property was close to the Airport which was good but on main road which was noisy. They offered a free shuttle service from Airport to Hotel which we booked but it didnt come... apparently shuttle driver didnt show up for work. Left us stranded so we had to pay for a taxi. Not happy. Have emailed the Hotel to complain about their lack of service but no response from them as yet. I contacted Expedia who contacted Hotel re shuttle and they virtually said i was lying that the shuttle did turn up but couldn't find us. Funny that their shuttle was parked at the Hotel when our taxi arrived so it couldn't have been looking for us. RAMADA would not refund my taxi fare. Dont stay at this Hotel the staff i encountered were no help and the Ramada brand is not what it used to be. Its been 6 days and i still have not heard from Ramada directly only through Expedia. Therecare much nicer looking hotels near this one so choose them instead.

Dirty and run down, not at all like the pictures show. The shuttle says it is until 11:30 but if you call at 11 you are out of luck

We were stuck in Houston due to an ice storm and this was not our first choice, but selection near the airport was limited. Everything from the moment we walked in said cheap. Staff was friendly, but you could tell that they were doing bare minimum. The room was good sized. The walls had areas where you could tell that it was scrubbed because the paint didn’t match. The knob that the door latch would hook into was broken off. The bathroom was small and the sink was in the main room. The bed itself was comfortable and clean. We never saw the airport shuttle. I called 5 times without an answer to try to get it to the hotel. We ended up having to take an Uber. We reserved the 6:30 AM to get back to the airport and along with several others waited until 7:00 before giving up and calling Uber again. Regarding the shuttle back to the airport, the front desk said that there was a problem with ice on bridges so everything was slow, but the Uber got us to the airport in 5 minutes and there was little to no traffic. If all you need to do is sleep and turn around like us, then it is ok. If you have other options, then take them.

We arrived very late at night as our plane was delayed and the bags took forever to come and we could not announce our late check in. We were worried that we would lose our room but when we finally arrived, around midnight, the receptionist was super nice and greeted us warmly and the room was still available. It made a huge difference for us and we highly appreciated it! The check in was very fast, too. Also, the parking is free at the property, too, another big plus. The convenience of being close to the airport but only about a quarter of a mile from I-59 towards downtown, makes this hotel a great option for travelers.

We landed in houston at 1 am and needed a place to sleep, it is clean, comfortable bed and conveniently close to the airport

Poor communication regarding shuttles from airport. Said on website shuttles until 1130pm. Got into airport just after 11 and no shuttle option. No other option provided. Find an Uber maybe? Rest of stay was decent

Checked in late after calling the day before to let them know. They told me no problem. Upon arriving, the front desk clerk could not find the reservation, then finally did but said one of the two rooms was probably not cleaned. After wait almost 20 minutes, he returned and said it was ready. There was also a hold of $60 for each room on my credit card. This information was not stated any place or any time prior to my arrival. I had no choice but to agree to this if I wanted the rooms. It was midnight and we had been in flight all day. Not happy about that. Breakfast was ok but not great . Cereal, toast, yougart, juice and coffee. Also make your own waffles…

One thing that I liked was the location. It is very close to the airport. But upon arriving (20 mins early) I was not allowed to check in without paying a “fee”. That is understandable, but such a strongly enforced policy should possibly be flexible especially if your facility isn’t up to par. I waited until my appropriate check in time of 3pm, then found out the elevator was broken. Therefore I had to carry my luggage up two flights of stairs in a stairwell that smelled like urine. I entered my room and there was an odor in there as well. I purchased febreeze in an attempt to make the smell better and it did not work. Later I noticed several pieces of hair when I pulled back the sheets along with some sort of stains (I have photos and video). My siblings also had a room there and their rooms had an odd odor as well, therefore I did not report it or try to get another room. I felt most likely since all of our rooms had a similar issue that the rest of the hotel rooms would as well.

The rooms are not up to date, elevator never works. sink water barely ran. Not to mention the TV display was hardly visible. This place looks much better in the online photos. The Hotel shuttle service they offer never arrived when I called for scheduled pickup I do not recommend it.
