Sonesta Select Kansas City Airport Tiffany Springs

We were there for one night before our flight home. I have mobility problems, use a cane, not in a wheelchair, but I have balance problems. The shower was wheelchair accessible and had a fold down stool and hand shower which I used. However, the shower floor was tiled the same as the rest of the bathroom floor. It looked nice, but it was very slick and slippery once soap and water were employed. They did not provide a non-slip shower mat. That situation looked to me like a lawsuit about to happen. Thankfully, I survived the shower without falling, but I was worried about it. I was shocked to discover that we did not have breakfast available because we booked and paid via Hotels.com. I always look for breakfast when we travel. When we checked in, the admission receptionist told us breakfast hours. Nothing was said that we didn't qualify. So, buyer beware. Booking to that hotel with this site leads to discriminatory treatment.

So usually when I leave a review I focus on cleanliness and value, etc. which were both perfect but I have to aim this review more towards the staff, specifically a gentleman named Jesse who was working the front desk. I travel often and it’s been a long time since I had someone check me in that actually gave me the level of customer service and welcomed us in a manner that made us happy to be there! So much in fact that we came back and stayed again the following weekend! I don’t know who needs to hear this afa management or whoever is in charge at Sonesta but that repeat business was because of your worker Jesse and my suggestion would be to promote or do something to keep him around cause he was phenomenal at his job! Enjoyed talking with him both weekends and honestly will be my go to hotel when I come down for games/trips! Thank you Jesse for making me and my family feel welcome, hope to see ya next time we come down!

We stay here every time we fly out of KCi. Great rates for park and fly. Easy shuttle to airport and pick up. Clean and friendly staff

Worst birthday weekend ever! I booked a double queen suite pullout couch 3 weeks ahead of time. I get there, check is normal. Manager was standing less than 5 feet away. I go to my room only to see what I booked was not the room I was put in. Come to find out, they put someone else in the room I booked without sending an email,text, calling me, sending a message on hotels.com app. But they can send a mesaage for $10.00 breakfast. They tell me the only thing they can do is give me 50% off my hotel. Not once did they come in to empty the trash, bring fresh towels. I couldn't call down to customer service, but they could call me. After staying there and making sure we didnt leave anything. I found someone ELSE'S DIRTY SOCKS AND CHEWED SUNFLOWER SEEDS BEHIND THE LIVING ROOM TV STAND. It was also sunflower seeds behind the tv in the bedroom. Sheets were not cleaned. I would never stay here again. This was the worst experience and my family always travels to KC.

Laundry machines on each floor, balconies on the rooms, prepacked breakfasts, and a 24/7 shuttle service - no wonder this is popular with aviation staff. It worked great for our family of three, stranded for three nights due to flight cancellations. They even shuttled us to the nearby shopping area for free. The staff were kind and considerate, and about the only thing I could say negatively is that the toilet in our room needs replacing because our little girl clogged it with toilet paper far too easily.

I had a one-night layover in KC and found this wonderful, affordable hotel by the airport. If I have to stay close to the KC airport again, this is my go-to place. Clean, updated, quiet, and the staff was wonderful. They accommodated my wife even though I arrived later than her and the reservation was in my name. Nice!

We had an excellent stay at this Sonesta! Extremely pleased with the staff and location and facilities! Close to local shopping and convenient for travel! We will be back!

Place was nice. Only problem with room was it seemed damp and a bit musty. Was in for just an overnight stay before flight next morning.
