Hotel Salina Long Beach

The parking was full and small . We had to park outside on the street. When we arrived late around 10:30 , there was roach on the sink and on wall under table. I’m not happy with the area .

The rooms were not so bad but had no blankets the pillow were very flat ..the parking is ridiculous..the owner have like 5 cars and they literally block your room door by parking right in front side ways ..there is 1 way in and 1 way out...it has 5 spots in the back that you can hardly get in once they are full you have to park on the road where its a 2 hr limit or you will be towed ...just crazy

The room doesn’t really look like the pictures. It has musty smell, and bugs, feel like it hasn’t been used for a while. My daughters got multiple insect bites. It’s very noisy at night time. You can hear cars on the road, and also people come to check in at late night. The parking space is also tight. I wouldn’t recommend this place. It doesn’t really worth the price.

Well I was a bit surprised. Check in is at 3pm not noon, as stated on the original reservation, so that delayed our vacation a bit.. Cash only option for their deposit because their machines were down, only to be inconvenienced by their atm being down too. Thank goodness for internet banks and zelle. Not much parking but we weren’t bothered too much. Stayed 1 night.

Nice hotel. Got room here for my Dad and his wife who are in their mid 70’s for a stay to be near her son who lives in Long Beach. Hotel was clean with comfortable bed. Nice amenities in room. They had to leave a cash deposit for incidentals since I paid for room on card. They had to leave early for flight and forgot to get deposit back. Manage/ owner called me and let me know and returned their deposit to me by Venmo to get it back to my Dad. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Long Beach area.

Called the hotel around 11pm to see if check in would be complicated since I don’t stay in hotels often, the female receptionist that answered said no and that they’re open and to come on down. Booked it on the app and showed up, check in was easy, the female receptionist was super nice. They took a $50 cash deposit that was disclosed in the app so I was expecting that. I had to get the deposit back a couple days later since I don’t live in the area and had to leave early so that was on me. Overall pleasant experience, super easy check in, was quiet, plenty of street parking, 12 mins from downtown Long Beach.

It looks like they are starting to update the property so things may change. There were old mattresses all over the property. The toilet seats look very worn. The water pressure is so low, it would be difficult to wash the shampoo out of your hair. They put me in the wrong room and while I was out asked to move my personal items. I had no choice because I was out all day so they video chatted so I could see then move the items. The parking is extremely tight and not sufficient for the number of residents which leaves you with parking on Longbeach Blvd, a very busy thoroughfare and less secure location for someone’s car. I’m just writing this because if I had known all these details, I may have selected a different location. The only positive is that it looks like they are trying to renovate (hence the nice pictures) but they have a ways to go. It was quiet and had new firm mattresses. The room was a decent size, had a tv and fridge. Low price.

NOT a Hotel. A pisspoor run & rundown, detetiorated, broken down furnishings & utilities for a Staybridge price. NOTHING WORX RIGHT! (minifridge keeps brew / drinkswarm & microwave at usually closed office) NO hot&cold H20. (1 temp fits all) Weak, scatter sprayey, & hard to use twist head shower flow. OffNose water scent.Unable to open or close old chest of drawers. Lopsided & stiff Qbed. Wobbly toilet seat wont flush properly. Not even a deceant chair to sit on. Many ETCz.. Smells like ashtray inside. 1 black smeary bath towel. TV basic cable small flatscreen. Expect $100 refundable security deposit for Just Overniter. Long checkin time. Waited almost 1hr at latenite office outside window for her husband to showup & facilitate my entry. So beg for extra checkout hour. Ooops, NO DONT GO THERE At All.... Smudge Lot. Crampt quarters. Lousiest motel ever in Bixby Knolls. (someplace has to be on bottom) Front doors exit to driveway only. The BadList goes on ... WHAT a (USD178.14/nt) HUGE RipOff. SKIP IT! Avoid it like the Plague. In all my Global Nomad travels Ive NEVER Found Worse Place than this in LongBch, CA. If u want this neighborhood try Sunshine next door. And Steelhead half block away is GRRRATE!!! Best signature handcraft beer, Cup o' Jo & specialty grubhounds nd compound.
