Residence Inn By Marriott Long Beach

The newly renovated room was very nice, clean and accommodating. The best part of the experience was the assistance from Anna at the front desk. She assisted me with checking in and helped me with other questions throughout my stay. Her patience and kindness were greatly appreciated after traveling with my elderly father. I highly recommend this place and I will be staying here again.

Not up to Marriot standards. Property run down. They are renovating but that presents its own problems with construction containers scattered around the parking area. Room air conditioner was very loud.

For us who just arrived from a long flight , the outside noise was bothersome. Mainly workers were playing yard. I reached for a bottle cap under the bed and felt webbing. Gross. Booked a king size bed but got maybe a full. Everything else is just peachy! Room is a good size. Has a kitchen, dining and living areas. Huge handicap bathroom

We got in early from the airport and were extremely tired. The hotel allowed us an early check in which was very convenient! The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room had everything we needed and was very clean. We will be staying here the next time we are in Long beach California! I highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

The front desk gentleman, Justin, went above and beyond for us. He was very friendly and asked about our plans. Based on that, he gave us priceless tips for our events we were attending. We will stay again and recommend it to our friends traveling to LA. We chose to stay there versus LA, and I’m so glad we did.

My room was amazing really clean close parking

sliding bathroom door. hard to open and close. lights auto shut off at night. no nite lite. a/c is super strong. paid parking is a bummer. but stay was comfortable

Not much to dislike but I will say the parking spaces are a bit snug for even an average sedan

I didn't like anything about this smelly, rundown old dump of a hotel! The spa was broken. The pool was cold. While I had my son and his wife and 2 small children visiting at the ice cold pool ,the police were flying a helicopter overhead yelling at a robbery suspect to give himself up! They had the streets in every direction blocked off!! Does that sound like a safe area to you? Also I booked my luxurious room for a extra night, so I would be able to hang out until my flight that evening. I checked out and went to the airport, and discovered my flight had been cancelled until the next morning.When I called about resuming the rest of my stay for the night, I was told that since I checked out, I would have to pay for my room again! I am a senor citizen on a fixed income. Since I had to pay $240.00 for another room, this will create a hardship on me for the rest of the month!

The room/suite was spacious and immaculately clean. The staff was uniformly nice and helpful. Breakfast was good, with abundant selections. Right off the freeway for easy access, although you'll need to drive elsewhere for dining and other attractions. Plenty of parking (at $12/night).
