Hampton Inn Louisville-Airport

We were actually in the room very little... just to change clothes and sleep during a visit to family. The room was super clean and comfortable. Easy to get to and convenient for our needs. Plenty of parking. Breakfast onsite is a help.

Staff were all warm, welcoming and kind. The shuttle service was extremely helpful and breakfast was varied and enjoyable. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Could have used a clock.

What an excellent renovation, the room was immaculate. Excellent service and great shuttle to the airport. Thank you.

There was only one working elevator and half the time that didn’t work. We were told by the front desk that you just have to keep hitting the button and eventually it will light up and come to the floor you were on. This morning when we were leaving to check out we were stuck on our floor. Floor 3. Pressing the button multiple times and the elevator never came. So we took the stairs with all our luggage and signs everywhere saying do not enter because of wet paint. We had no choice but to enter since there was no working elevator. We walked all three flights of stairs with children and luggage overflowing from our arms because we were already packed up and left the keys in the room. Making it inconvenient to even go back in. This also made us late to the tumbling competition in town that we were in Louisville for. Very frustrating. We also never had the cleaning crew in our room to grab trash. We had to set it outside the door hoping they would come grab it.

This is a good place to stay—very comfortable and clean. Breakfast could have been better. It was all spread out all over the place due to construction. I was disappointed and a little upset that I was only here to be near my terminally ill brother and the social worker gave me a list of hotels with lower rates for those having to stay close to a loved one. The front desk person told me they were “almost sold out” so they wouldn’t honor it. I was really in shock—like, you’ll only honor it if no one needs it? Don’t say you are going to help people in their time of grief and then be like—nope, we want the money! It’s not attractive and it’s a terrible policy.

Free parking nice. Room looked recently updated and was a little above average. Tub had odd slope to it and was not easy to stand in. Property under construction/renovation so had construction noise. Lobby and checkin area not inviting.

It was very easy to get to and easily accessible to the highway and airport.

This property is going trough a much needed renovation. It looks like it hasn’t been updated for 50 years. I almost exclusively stay at Hampton Inn for their reliable quality. Not this time. Very trashy. Absolutely loved the ladies who checked us in and out on thanksgiving and the next morning. Shuttle service to the airport was great.

I was desappointed with this hotel. It is old, dirty, carpet not smell well, dirty air condiotining causing cough, the room is very dark and the coffee-break was not good. Only the good thing was the shuttle to the airport.

Stayed one night and left car there while on trip to Las Vegas. Shuttle to airport and back was very prompt. Desk clerk was very friendly and informative. Will stay again if flying out of Louisville.
