Overview

The Cotton Court Hotel in Lubbock is praised for its stylish design, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. Guests appreciate the hotel's charming atmosphere, which includes attractive outdoor spaces like a courtyard with fire pits and hammocks. The on-site restaurant receives positive comments, and many mention the thoughtful amenities such as complimentary beverages upon arrival and well-stocked mini-fridges in the rooms. However, a significant drawback frequently cited is the limited parking, often requiring guests to park in a nearby garage. The hotel's popularity may exacerbate this issue, particularly during peak times.

Definitely a great place to stay in Lubbock. The staff was friendly and able and the hotel, only 4 years old at the time of this review was in very good shape. The only nitpicks - parking is limited, the pool could be larger (it’s great for a hotel pool, but it’s very crowded with both kids and adults and therefore not relaxing), mattresses could be a bit better. All in all though, would definitely stay there again.

Hotel is very nice (new/clean) but no hot water (sink or shower) and not enough parking and that is with hotel not even close to fully rented. Bathroom door also really difficult, keeps coming off the roller track. First time, last time on this one

Room was nice, a/c worked great. Great shower and bathroom. You can tell they’ve worked hard to upgrade the facility and it looks nice. People were very friendly too. But parking is a huge issue that they don’t tell you about, even at checkin. I came back to the hotel and learned they only have about 20 or so parking spots for the entire hotel and restaurant. Those are constantly filled. Then they have about 20 more that are on the street. Those too were filled up in the afternoon/evening, I’m guessing because of the restaurant. Point is if you get one of those spots don’t move your car. Otherwise you have to park in a parking garage about a block and a half way and you can only park on the top 2 floors. Seems like with that little parking they would keep the spots near the hotel for hotel guests only but they don’t. Knowing what I know now I probably wouldn’t stay there again. Lots of choices in the area in the same price range. I didn’t like my car a block and a half away in some parking garage all night.

The property was amazing. There is slightly limited parking on weekends but there is always somewhere to park. The lobby staff was so nice and the grounds were beautiful. Lots of construction going on in the area so there isn't much going on but it didn't affect noise levels.

A very unique experience for those who want to travel back in time yet have a modern experience with all of the modern luxuries! Love the vibe from check in to the room decor. Makes you feel right at home!

The room was amazing and the staff were very professional! We hope to be back in warmer weather to use the courtyard. The only thing I didn't really like were the barn doors that were used for the bathroom doors. They don't really offer much privacy, but were really only a minor inconvenience. We will definitely stay here again and we will probably choose to stay in their other properties if they are available in the areas we are traveling.

Hotel is nice in general, the only downside is the parking on premises, at peak dinner hours is almost impossible to find a spot there, so you end up parking a block away. This is specially problematic on bad weather.

After having stayed at a very disappointing Holiday Inn, I was not sure what to expect of my second visit to Lubbock. I took a chance on The Cotton Court and am sold! What a lovely concept! The hotel encircles their manicured grounds that are family friendly. Fire pits and s’mores kits, picnic tables and a fenced pool. A great restaurant/bar on-site with indoor/outdoor seating and friendly waitstaff. The hotel lobby is charming. We received a warm greeting from Stefan who briefed us on the layout and parking. The rooms are spacious with a full-sized fridge with enough room for your own items plus the cold beverages that await guests. I highly recommend this hotel and wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Lubbock.

Overall, I was pleased with the stay. The atmosphere is awesome. Had a couple of issues with the access card not working, but it was resolved promptly. Had to park in adjacent lot, but parking is limited on-site.

Be aware of the restaurant hours, because of limited timeframe especially during mid-week. Tough if you are traveling long distances and getting in late.
