One night stay with a group of friends. Excellent location; very clean and comfortable rooms. Very nice restaurant on site where we enjoyed happy hour and Tapas.
Would have appreciated free parking, but that is the only complaint.

Lovely hotel, room was nice and large. Walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants. I wasn't aware that there was an additional fee for parking though.

Loved Casa Munras - although my room was small it was quiet & comfortable. Front desk folks were friendly & helpful, even carrying my bag to my room on 2nd floor. Pool was lovely & clean. One negative - daily parking fee which was not included on Hotels.com description of property. Proximity to downtown & restaurants & Trader Joe’s was great. Will definitely stay here again!

We have been staying at Casa Munras for 20 years and have always found it wonderful the only problem is parking especially if you have a big truck or suv unfortunately the properties footprint doesn’t allow for more spaces but our stays are always great

We love staying here. Very clean!! Excellent helpful staff. Walking distance to most everything. Be aware of the $17 a night parking. Water Presure is low in our rooms shower but we we will return for the 5th time as soon as possible 😀

The only issue I had with this property was the parking. It is $17 a night and I wasn’t even able to park anywhere near my hotel door. My grand mother is handicapped and there was no parking near our door either.

We are half way through our stay. On the plus side, I do like the location, as it’s close to downtown and very walkable. Check in was easy and the employee was very nice and helpful.
They do charge $17/day to park, which is unnecessary. It’s all open parking, and the “free” car charger is not working.
The room is large and clean and the bed is comfortable (soft). We got put in an accessible room, which is fine.
You can tell the room was either a smoking room at some point, as there is a very faint smell still lingering in the room. The room is also close to the maintenance shed and dumpster, so it’s kind of noisy, even very early in the morning.
For the price paid, I would at least expect some complimentary water bottles in the room, especially since it marathon weekend. Most hotels I’ve stayed in for races usually do some nice extras for the runners these weekends.
Overall, this is a decent place to stay while in Monterey, but there were still a few negatives to keep me from bumping it up a star.

The hotel was charming and I traveled with my pup. I felt having wood floors was a challenge especially hearing everything from the person staying above me. The room was smaller then I had thought, access to the mini fridge, the small details of the room felt dated. Like a glass table and large chair that took up space that was unusable. There were no trash bags so it felt like it wasnt the cleanest so i was taking it outside, we stayed in room 151. I am a federal employee so i would stay at the Hyatt with the spacious of their rooms, the carpet, and layout. Walking around the area it felt nice but the room was dark, small and oversized furniture for such an already small room with no carpet wasnt for me.
