Comfort Inn Monterey Peninsula Airport

Stayed here twice--right after my flight to Monterey and then the night before I went home. The room was fine enough, but I was pleased with the service and location convenience. You can walk right from the hotel (albeit a short part of that is on the road) to the airport.

It’s quiet even though is pretty close to the airport. Easy access and all furniture has been updated.

I liked the hotel very close to the airport but did not hear the airplanes during the night. No air conditioners but there was a box fan in our room, and we brought our own fan. The breakfast area was small, and food was decent. Would like to be closer to Monterey city, but it worked out.

The room was spacious and comfy. The breakfast option was limited but other than that, I enjoyed the 1 night stay overall. The reason I gave 3 stars is that I accidentally left my dress in the closet. I clearly remember it because I hanged it in there as soon as I checked in because it was a linen dress and I didn’t want it to be wrinkled in the suitcase. I asked my husband to remind me if I forget about it on the next morning, but we were kind of in a hurry and completely forgot about it. I remembered it when we came back home from travel 3 days later and called the hotel, but the front desk said that there’s nothing in the lost and found and that means there was no dress left in the hotel room. I explained the situation and they said that there’s a low chance to find it back but they will call me after asking to the house keeper the next morning. It was my new, favorited dress and I really wanted to get it back but they didn’t call me back.

It was a 6 minue walk from my room to the TSA check point at the Monterey airport.

This stuff for very nice. The place was clean. The towels are new. The only thing you can hear the airplanes it is next to airport.

It was every cozy and the rooms we’re nice size. The grounds are serene for an airport hotel but Monterey Regional is a small airstrip. It’s walking distance to Woodys at the airport that serves excellent food and drinks to travelers. Overall was very satisfied, breakfast is included, nothing special but a hearty egg sandwich and waffles was fine! Nice staff.

It was comfortable at about a 3-4. Close to Airport - Awesome - we walked. The airport restaurant was good. There was some confusion on check Inn and some of our guys were getting in early next morning because of flight issues. Used this as resting point before and after staying at Pebble Beach properties - REALLY convenient for that if flying in/out MRY

Picked this hotel solely due to proximity to airport for a 6 am flight. Nothing special. Since there was no restaurant, I ordered Grub Hub late. Went to front desk to see where I could buy a bottle of pop. "We have vending machines but none of them work." Drank water with my pizza. Though close to the airport, the 7-minute walk was with two bags in the rain, much of it on the street facing oncoming traffic.

Close to the airport. Nothing special and glad I set my own alarm as the wake-up call never happened.
