Not so good. Traffic noise outside was very loud. Also not happy to have to pay to park in the parking lot out front.

We stayed 3 nights and on the second day our room was not cleaned. We had to ask for clean towels and coffee and tea refills and for the room to be cleaned. The hotel charges $15 destination fee (resort fee)/ day and told the other couple we traveled with that if they spent $15/day in the gift shop the $15 would be credited to the room. Unfortunately we were not told that information upon checkin so lost out on this benefit. Hilton needs to train their employees to inform their customers on all the benefits.

Extremely pricey for level of service. Room very comfortable and clean. Fairly close to downtown Monterey. Long elevator waits especially around checkout times. Not enough luggage carts. Called front desk on 2 separate days and could not get anyone to pick up phone nor call back. Floor in eating area very sticky. Shoes kept sticking as I walked around. Read fine print resort fee and parking fee. Just expected more for amount paid.

Loved the friendly and accommodating staff!! The bathroom tub did not drain well and hot water was fleeting. Those barn doors in the bathrooms are heavy and hard for young and elderly to open and close. $20 parking fee a day is ridiculous!!

Overall good setup for family vacation. Convenient to not have to look for food in the morning. Too many miscellaneous fees: parking and facilities fees.

Everything overall was great. The shower was a bit cold if taken in the evening. The staff were extremely helpful. I travelled with my mom and sister, the staff were always willing help. Assuring on anything we needed.

slighly dissappointed in the check in process. The clerk didn't completely explain hotel's features. We were not aware of a self parking fee until we checked out

Great hotel but there are too many additional fees on top of the nightly rate such as parking fee, destination fee, and resort fee.

We had a nice stay. I had a room change because I didn't want to be near the elevator. I was accommodated but had to pay an upgrade fee. Eye roll, I was expecting that. They charge for parking, which is ridiculous but also expected. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel was nice and quiet, although, I was surprised to hear a little bit of road noise. Nothing my white noise couldn't handle but I wasn't expecting it.

Front desk friendly and welcoming. I had few questions about parking and checking in before 4pm. The front desk gentleman discuss with me the happy hour and provided me with a voucher as well. Breakfast was great. Every staff from the breakfast area very friendly. I will definitely be staying there for my next work visits. Lastly, I will be recommending this hotel to my work colleagues and friends to stay here at the Embassy. Super safe, welcoming staff and very clean.
