La Quinta Inn by Wyndham New Orleans Veterans / Metairie

Non working lights, Urine on the floor, stained sheets with urine, cobwebs on the ceiling, broken shower, broken furniture, dirty towels. There is also some illegal work going on at this hotel as you see multiple people protecting certain rooms by standing outside of them all night and day, with random people going in and out of the room, including a sketchy taxi that hides behind the hotel and stays there all night 24/7. These individuals make it an uncomfortable environment when walking to your room at night. One good thing is the staff is kind. Pool is also broken.I would not recommend anyone to stay here, and I am not a picky person.

The room had flying insects there was paper lodged between the night stand and the bed the eating table wasn’t wiped clean enough. LaQuinta is not the same this location/hotel has become one of those hotels you stay ONLY because you’re exhausted from driving and you need to stop and rest not because you want to enjoy your stay I was disappointed.

My room was conveniently located next to the parking lot and swimming pool. Very cool!

Elevator and Ice machine not working, however room was clean and staff were efficient. It’s an older property but for the price it was an excellent value for a single male traveler.

This property was very dirty and run down. Multiple outlets in the room did not work. The light in the bathroom did not work, so I had to shower in the dark. There were gnats flying up from out of the sink. It was dirty and really and truly needs some help. The only reason I stayed there was because it was close to the airport and I wasn't staying for very long, just long enough to need a bed for the night.

The hotel not only was not in terrible condition but everything was dirty. Towels were dirty and used when we got to our room. The sink was clogged and there was no hot water. The door also did not close all the way. I was travelling with a service dog and was told “well how do I know it’s really a service dog” when checking in. Overall it was a terrible experience.

For the money this is a great place. Clean and comfortable. The room and fixtures are somewhat dated, but functional. Very easy parking, right next to the room. Coffee and simple breakfast items in the morning. The surrounding area is full of dining and shopping places. Easy 15 mins drive to New Orleans downtown.

Not good at all. First sign was checking in watching front desk argue with another guest already staying there. Poor fellas door wasn’t working all his stuff inside and she could absolutely care less. Can’t do attitude. Vagrants all over. Unsafe area. We had been on the road 13 hours and we’re traveling with a dog we didn’t have a choice about staying. The suite we booked for 140, almost 160 after taxes, for one night was located behind the office. You were led to it be the most filthiest carpet I have ever seen in an establishment. They have never cleaned it. Ever. The stench of cigarette smoke permeated the entire floor, but it seemed like some had smoked a carton in our suite. No way to get that out. The covers were filthy we removed them and slept on top of the sheets which I believe were clean. The suite layout was spacious is about the best thing I can say about this stay. We were up and out by daylight. My husband attempted to get cereal from the breakfast, but found the milk to be chunky with ice. I went to checkout and was told to leave my key in the box sitting in front of the desk clerk she couldn’t be bothered. Definitely no ask about how the stay was. Close it down it’s old and tired and not a soul there cares about the property or the guests. Shame on you.

This was the dirtiest place I've ever stayed! Blood on the sheet, blankets, and curtains. Dirty fingerprints are everywhere. Black mold in the art hanging on the walls. Bullet casing in the parking lot and a car with a busted window. There's a Dennys next door that sounds like a party house with cars burning out until 4 AM. The ladies at the desk were very sweet but this was not a fun or safe feeling while staying here.
