Extended Stay America Suites - New Orleans - Airport - I-10

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Extended Stay America Suites for two nights, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. This property, which opened not that long ago, exceeded my expectations in several ways. From the moment I arrived, the staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming, and helpful. Their professionalism and genuine care made my stay very pleasant. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries and provided excellent recommendations for local dining and attractions. The hotel itself was impeccably clean, and this standard extended to my room. The room was well-organized, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. It was clear that the housekeeping team takes great pride in maintaining a high level of cleanliness. Every morning the hotel has a continental breakfast and they offer a variety of options, including breakfast bars, muffins, hot cereal, coffee, and tea. Additionally, the hotel provides plenty of parking, which was very convenient. The hotel's location is another significant advantage. It is easy to access the airport and it is situated right next to the exit off the interstate. This convenience, combined with the excellent service and comfortable accommodations, makes Extended Stay America Suites a top choice for both short and extended stays. I highly recommend Extended Stay America Suites for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located hotel with exceptional staff.

Rude staff - incompetence as well - when I wanted to extend my stay due to a flight cancellation- the front desk told me that I would have to go to Expedia to book another night - went back to my room and booked another night on Expedia - went back to front desk and they told me since it was a new reservation they had to charge an additional $100 deposit - then admitted they could have booked me another night - their mistake cost me another $100 removed from my available funds. Room smelled like previous guests cooked food. the final detail. After we checked out and were waiting for our ride - the manager felt the need to rudely tell us that our pets (guinea pigs being transported after my daughter graduated from Tulane) were not allowed and that we had been checked in with them by mistake. What was the point? We were already checked out! Her rudeness made my daughter cry. Don’t stay here until they train staff and get a new manager!

We stayed here during a water outage across the whole parish. But this hotel tried everything in their power to keep guest calm and safe. I love how every room comes with a kitchen automatically. I have absolutely no complaints. By far one of the best places we have stayed. Everyone was so nice. The hospitality was so amazing, the airport was with in minutes away, everything was so perfect here and during our trip.

The positives were the staff... all so friendly and helpful... and the location so close to the airport and walking distance from food places. The negatives... the room was advertised shower/tub but only had a shower (needed tub). On top.of that, the bed frame was essentially a cot. The room.was very dirty with rust stains on everything. Furniture was dirty with vinyl peeling. No utensils, cookware, or dishware, not even at front desk. The staff was wonderful but would never recommend this.

Only there for a few hours rest. We checked out early for a 06:00 am flight to Las Vegas. Location was convenient in relation to the airport. Check in was a breeze clerk was very polite and helpful.

The hotel was located in a convenient for our travel plans. Disappointed We stayed on the third floor lack of water pressure for the shower. They only had one luggage cart that was useable and ended up with a flat tire on it. The breakfast grab n go consisted of oatmeal or a mini muffin.

No one there to check me in. Late arrival. Tried calling ahead no answer b tried calling multiple times from lobby phone. No one came. Had to leave and stay awake over night at the local airport. Won’t stay at their facilities again

Convenient, pretty clean -- floor would leave your feet real dirty! Surprisingly quiet for being next to freeways and airport. PRICE for staying seven days was great. Potential renters should know that you pay for room cleaning, you take your own garbage to the dumpster outside, and there are minimal bathroom towels, nothing in kitchenette for cups, etc. I still like it for the price!!

The one good thing first: The hotel is in a great location. It's only about 5 minutes from the airport. So getting a rental car and dropping it off are very easy. The many bad things: This hotel says it non-smoking but every time you walk into the hotel it reeks of cigarette smoke (or some foul smell that's similar) not sure how that's possible. It's and extended stay hotel but there are NO plates, bowls, pots, pans, etc. to get from the front desk even though a note on the fridge in the room says to just ask for them. It's absolutely ridiculous that an extended stay hotel does not have these items We were there for four days and not once did housekeeping come into our room and clean or make beds or anything. I understand it's an extended stay hotel...but not one time in four days? I think that is a bit much. Hotel also has no pool, so if that's something you normally do on a vacation you'll want to look elsewhere. Room also wasn't a "suite" it was just a standard hotel room with two beds that happened to have a full size fridge, kitchenette, and microwave in the room. So if you want an actual suite you'll have to book something other than the cheapest room they have. Hotel had awful wifi as well.
