Corona Hotel

You can park in their locked parking lot. The room was clean and close to Arthur Ashe Stadium.The only down side was it was in a shady area.

The property is old, very run-down, and smells like cigarettes throughout. Rooms are bare with stiff, uncomfortable beds and no in-room microwave or fridge. Cleaning crews were vacuuming the halls at midnight while we were trying to sleep. The only positives about this hotel were the location (walking distance to the Queens Zoo and 1 block from the subway to NYC) and free parking.

I hate writing bad reviews but this facility is in bad shape. The room is very outdated. The beds covers had stains, the carpet was dirty and there was no water pressure. Also the furnace was down the hall from my room and it woke me up quite a few times during the night. The staff would keep the door open so the noise was even louder. The entrance to the parking area was very narrow and my pick up truck barely fit thru. This is more of a Motel and not a Hotel. Overall experience was not good and would not come back to this hotel.

My stay was actually better than expected. I was in a 4th floor unit at rear of the building so the rumble from the el train wasn't enough to keep me from a sound sleep. Free basement parking was good if you're careful in the narrow passage.

The hotel is not easy to find and parking is limited to a small lot behind the hotel, accessible only through an EXTREMELY narrow tunnel at the side of the hotel. I rented a compact car and was still nervous driving down to the back lot. I don't know what I would have done if the lot had been full. This place is fairly decent, so I do not want to disparriage it too badly, but it really is best for folks who use public transportation, cabs or car services. All told, I was satisfied as I need a place close to the airport where I could catch a few winks before having to get up extremely early for a very early morning flight. Aside from the folks in the room next to me smoking enough pot to make the 81st Airborn contact high, all went well.

Worst hotel and hospitality I’ve ever experienced. Reviews were already terrible but the main reason I booked it was for the parking but now I wish I woulda booked ANYTHING else. Train is right above the hotel so it’s super noisy. Room and bath were unsanitary, dirty, old, tape all over the ceiling. I honestly just got the hotel so I could change into a different outfit and be on our way. I had a couple of my friends with me it was my birthday weekend and the staff kept harassing us knocking on the door, calling the room as SOON as we got in, it was ghetto. I just needed a few minutes to change… we decided we didn’t feel safe being there so we left after a half hour. Didn’t even get a refund they denied our request for one. What a waste, not worth no 300$

If you want to go to an evening game at Citifield and not have to drive home; then stay here. There are also a variety of food options in the area. Make sure you get a room by the parking lot.

Overall experience is good. Service is good. Everything is clean, although facilities not new. Two problems: their parking lot is quite small- can only take 8 cars at all. Also since the hotel is close to the metro, every ten minutes there will be noise from metro.

It has an attached parking, which was very convenient and is also very close to the subway line. The rooms were fine, and had all the basic necessities. The staff were friendly and helpful.
