Best Western Plus Newark Airport West

Best value around. Location in the middle of long term parking lots for rail and maybe airport parking, near highway so hard to navigate to but excellent hotel with great hot breakfast and comfortable room. We’ll maintained and clean. Great for travelers and short Uber trip to Newark Penn station to catch train into New York for sight seeing.

Please update the address !! Took us 45 mins to figure out how to get to the actual hotel . It will continue to take you to a parking lot which is in front of the hotel and is not affiliated. Under maps enter : 6 International way , do not enter address listed on the site . When you get off the ramp , it will be your very first right which is “international way” do not miss it or another 15 minutes to get back around . Go towards hotel, it will be towards your right , looks like your entering by dumpster but this is the actual entrance , not to the right which is parking lot .

The airport shuttle was great.

Nice and comfortable with good size rooms. Limited transport options to get there other than by car or via transfer from the railway station. Didn't appear to be able to walk from Newark Airport. Hotel restaurant did decent food and offered room service.

Unfortunately Newark has challenges and this hotel reflects those challenges. Even though we paid a good amount of money for this hotel, we had some very frustrating experiences. Simply finding it can be difficult for the first time customer. Then when there, parking is tight. Further, the larger hotel rooms seem to have been updated with materials from the 1990's and felt a bit grimy: the floors were sticky and the walls still dusty - yes, dust is thickly clinging to the walls. This sounds a bit harsh, but it is clear the owner/operator is not willing to invest in the property and simply milks the business as best as possible. If you can help it, stay away until a new owner/operator comes along and invests in the property with proper updates. BTW: The staff were excellent.

Comfortable airport hotel. Very clean nicely appointed. Had all that was necessary for a layover stay.

A good option for a stay near the airport. Beds were comfortable and clean. Room could use some updating. Hallways smelled a little stale.

The hotel itself was fine the room and every was very average. But we had the HARDEST time getting there our Uber driver (and us) all had maps open and we literallly couldn’t figure out to get there. So that wasn’t ideal. The shuttle to the train station was nice

Nearly impossible to access the property if you are not a local who knows the roads. And the parking is horrible - it's only a one lane parking lot and you have to back out the whole way (there's no place to turn around). The cafe was ok.
