Hampton Inn Newark Airport

I contacted the hotel to ask about the Airport shuttle and someone told me it was not available in this schedule, when I arrived the shuttle was also arriving, the reception guy underestimated the complain and also reject to recognize my Hilton level due to my booking was via Expedia.

Spent a nite here prior to our morning flight home. Everything was excellent! Kudos to the hotel shuttle bus driver who quickly detoured to an alternate route to the airport when the usual route was blocked.

Usually hotels near the airport are loud due to planes flying overhead. Not this one! The room was very quiet and I was able to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, I felt safe at this hotel as a female traveler.

If you are coming from the airport to stay here, be warned: there is no restaurant here or anywhere nearby. If you arrived at the airport around mealtime, I suggest having your meal at the airport (unless you rented a car). This hotel meets minimum requirements for airport hotel. Airport shuttle is good. It’s quiet. Bed is comfortable enough.

Staff is very friendly. The shuttle to Newark takes 20 minutes and drops you off 15 minutes away from the terminals so make sure to plan that into your travels.

Always seek out Hanpton Inn when traveling..never seems to disappoint! Clean and comfy.

However, I was disappointed to notice a lingering smell of smoke in both the hallway and my room, which detracted from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. It would be great if the hotel could address this issue to ensure a fresher environment for guests. Another aspect to consider is the shuttle service. While it was convenient to have a shuttle to the airport, I found it frustrating that the shuttle does not service Terminal A. This limitation made my travel plans a bit more complicated than I had anticipated. Overall, my stay was enjoyable, and I appreciated the complimentary breakfast and comfortable accommodations. If the hotel can work on improving the air quality and expanding shuttle service, I would definitely consider staying here again. I recommend the Hampton Inn Newark Airport, but be prepared for the smoke smell and shuttle limitations.

Great place to stay before an early morning flight from Newark. Shuttle from air train was easy, and all the staff were helpful.

Overnight stay before flying out. Close to airport. Check-in was very quick. Beds were a little hard for me.

The staff is way above average. The airport shuttle is dependable. The snacks store gets it right in terms of diverse offerings. I enjoyed my stay.
