Extended Stay America Suites Elizabeth Newark Airport

Not clean with bad smell. No shuttle service.

Very nice didn’t like the busy streets for crossing with a kid and shuttle did not take us over to the mall

Near Newark airport at outlet shopping mall.

First, no water pressure in shower. Rain would have been better. Second, lost my license day before check in, I had temporary license and 5 credit cards with my name, bank statements and the guy at desk wouldn’t let me in bc he couldn’t scan license. Absolute nonsense I stayed night before at hotel and they accepted it. He thought I was scamming . Until I threatened a bad review he wasn’t budging and was going to cancel my reservation. I know he was lying bc I gave him my customs check in app for airports and he said he was able to scan lol. No sorry you can’t scan that he just saw my name on it and let me threw. 45 min of my life

It was clean, customer service was great. Close to airport & mall.

Best things were (1) a kind, patient, helpful staff (2) shuttle from hotel to Newark Airport. It is a bit old and dated on inside. It was clean, but carpet needed replacing or a serious shampooing.

Hotel was fine being near airport was noisy with plane traffic. Walkable to ihop restaurant

Waited over 45 mins for a staff member to come to the front once she came she had no regard of the wait time . While waiting a lot of traffic in and out I smelled lots of cigarette and weed smoke I definitely felt unsafe someone kept knocking on my door and running. The room was not well kept and I woke up with a huge allergic reaction not to mention parking was almost impossible

We paid our security deposit in cash the night we checked in. Guest services said we didnt do it. We assured him.that we did. He said he didnt receive that from us. We chose not to argue with him. Wont go back here again..shuttle drivers were nice to us. We tipped them every day.

On 5/13/24 afternoon I was waiting for about an hour in the P4 of the airport to be picked up; after promised that will take only 10-15 minutes. In another note, the receptionist and the shuttle driver on the morning of 5/14/24 they both were very diligently and bd cooperative in help me to catch my international flight ontime.
