The hotel's policy is all no show appointments are cancelled after 3 AM. They never communicated that policy to me. My flight was delayed and they would not give me a room. A representative from Hotels.com called the front desk and they still would not give me a room. They claim the desk was closed from 3 AM to 3 PM. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF BS LIKE THIS.

Comfortable, clean and quiet. Nice location, just a few miles from the Oakland airport.

Stayed for two nights, the surrounding area is definitely a concern. Littered by trash and surrounding RVs with homeless people, while there’s a nearby bus stop that services to BART which connects to the rest of the Bay Area, I wouldn’t recommend walking outside the hotel and especially at night. There’s security at the hotel with a gate, which is assuring with how bad it is around the area.
Check-in was good, hallways leading into the room definitely have a musty, locker room-like smell and stained floors. Room, however, was decent and extremely clean. Comfortable and didn’t experience any weird smells, and the bed itself was clean as well. Walls weren’t thinned out where I could hear anything obnoxious, either. Bathroom was filled with decent amenities, and also well cleaned.
Breakfast was serviceable, nothing too special but gets the job done. Would stay here again being that it was significantly cheaper than the other hotels nearby, just bear in mind taking an Uber/Lyft to BART, or from/to the airport. The area is definitely a concern now and going forward.

Check in and check out was easy. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed one night to go to a game at the A’s Coliseum. The elevator had some MILES on it. The elevator was a bit scary. The lights didn’t work, it rattled as it ascended and the landings were a bit rough! The hotel street is lined with campers which makes it look like skid row. We didn’t feel safe walking to and from the stadium even though it’s only a 25 minute walk. Luckily, Ubers were always minutes away. The hotel closes the property gates at 11pm and there is a security guard so that helped it feel a bit safer. The room was clean and the beds were comfy enough for one night. The room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker but we didn’t use them. The hotel guests start to quiet down around midnight but the cars racing down the street are kind of a nuisance at all hours of the night. The continental breakfast had a nice selection of bagels, juices, cereal and there were sausage links and eggs that weren’t bad at all. Even with all the bad, I would still recommend this hotel for a short stay because of the nightly price and proximity to the airport.

Th hotel itself is ok enough to stay a night or two. Wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay. There’s a homeless camp literally right in front of the hotel so walking around the area is sketchy. There’s not a lot of good food options in the immediate area. Their hotel shuttle is out of service. I don’t know if it’s because it’s actually not working or if they are just too lazy to transport guests to the airport. The hotel is a little outdated too and their keycards suck. They barely work and always get demagnetized. I don’t think I would ever stay there again

Literally would give a zero if I could, the front is full of homeless. And there’s an opening in the gate where they can just come in to the parking lot, service was rude. The hallways stank so bad I kind you not. We were there for 2 nights and didn’t get no type of room service and we didn’t even have a don’t disturb sign.

One-night stay to catch international flight the next day. Terrible location. They no longer offered shuttle service to the airport as described on the amenities. No food options near hotel. Hotel rundown. Rooms were fairly clean.

The parking lot as you entered on property was lined with transient and homeless people. Not clean and safe. I did I not stay the 2 days. I left after one day. Will not book at this hotel again or recommend

The property is great, came in to town for an Athletics game. Service was a little slow at check in but with lots of people coming in to town that couldn’t be helped. The staff is friendly, the area outside the fence is less than desired due to the homeless encampments but that’s not the property’s problem. Also be aware for those using Uber, Lyft or walking everything around the hotel property locks their doors early. Tried to go to the gas station to get a drink at they were locked to walk in traffic.
Breakfast at the property is no frills, but it gets the job done. Got my fill and check out is quick and easy. Walking to the coliseum is about a mile, so it’s a great choice for budget savvy single travelers attending events at the coliseum or arena.

I rated this property poorly for the neighborhood and elevator. Over the fence was a line of homeless vehicles. I think I saw one homeless car in the parking lot as we left. The elevator shook while it was moving. We ended up using the stairs instead. The hotel itself was average, maid service upon request. The saving grace was breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage links and make-your-own waffles.
