DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Phoenix

Very nice hotel with free shuttle to the airport. The pool is huge and very nice and the staff are wonderful!

Nice place. Twice in 5 days flights canceled. Wish pool was open later.

The suites were nice, cleans and comfortable. Conveniently located near the airport. It is a bit of a hike to any rooms but that was a minor issue for us! Would recommend staying if flying in or out of Phoenix!

When I arrived with my family, the guy at the counter said we had to make parking reservations to leave our cars there through airportparkingreservations.com. I did and the website said they were full. Even the airport parking was showing full. Howard Johnsons was the only place that showed parking within walking distance, so I proceeded to book it. After that we went there only to find no parking and a very sketchy neighborhood. Later I went back to the counter at the hotel. This very nice young lady helped me make reservations right there on their property! That guy should not be a customer representative. DO NOT USE airportparkingreservations.com its a scam! Now i have to dispute the charges. What a hassle.

Everything was perfect except at check-in. My partner and I arrived at 1 am because of our flight and when we were checking in the lady at the front desk indicated that the room would be hot and that it was either that or cancel. We were appalled at the fact that they would just turn us away without trying to accommodate us. They did give us an extra fan and it’s a lovely place but that kind of conversation and at such a late time of night wasn’t great. I recommend that the hotel provide a nicer staff especially for patrons.

Conveniently located to the airport. Large room. Was pretty clean, but the property seems outdated. They called us to let us know the room we wanted with 2 beds was unavailable due to their AC being out. We were not compensated in any way for the inconvenience. Front desk employees were extremely rude! No help at all.

Obviously the stay was near the airport so my expectations were not to walk into a 5 star hotel. Hotel staff was just “okay” I got checked in without instructions on how to get to my room and wasted like 10 minutes trying to find the elevators which were on completely opposite from the front desk. As for the room condition, wow! Door was practically stuck, needs an update for sure. AC was not good, and my suite did not get cool (keep in mind this in Phoenix im the middle of summer) As I said, mediocre at best.

Great bed! Quiet, Clean, easy access and parking. The room was perfect for my daughter and me. We came for a concert, and getting back late was easy and quick. Had a great trip.
