The building is incredibly beat up and in a dangerous neighborhood. Remodeling is happening all around the property as well as demolition next door (to the point where they had to rope off a bunch of parking spaces that were in a blast zone). The elevator was insanely slow and taking the stairs reveals the age and lack of upkeep on the building. The pool was clean but a bunch of tiles are missing. If this hotel was not at such a high price, it still would have been subpar but, at the insane rates charged, it was offensively bad. The staff was kind but clearly overwhelmed and limited with what they could do to help.

They didn’t have a shuttle driver to return us from airport
Had to hire our own Uber driver
When shuttle took us to airport there was jugs of bed bug spray in the shuttle van

Very cooperative staff allowed early afternoon check in even though hotel had been fully booked night before, putting pressure on cleaning staff to prepare rooms for next day. Room clean and comfortable; fresh coffee available in breakfast room throughout day; good breakfast in clean facility. Excellent location near airport; good local restaurants close by.

First of all, website said airport shuttle until 11:00 PM, called at 10:15 PM and said it stops at 10:00. Room had wall with paint peeling and possible mold. Way outdated. No remote with TV. Carpeting in hallway and lobby needs to be replaced. Walls in lobby and hallway needs to be patched and painted. Breakfast okay.

La Quinta is within walking distance to the airport and Iron Works restaurant is also within walking distance. The staff was above and beyond normal ,,,,,,the shuttle service was excellent . There is a small mom & pop store nearby. The price was right .many thanks from bob

It served its' purpose! It was a nice location. Close to the airport and easy access to surrounding cities like Newport and Providence.

The staff were super friendly and kind. Made my stay much better. The bed was rather lumpy… which is probably the only negative I saw. Breakfast was hot -sausage and eggs and waffles or toast/bagels, or cereal or oatmeal. The pool was clean, and I was traveling without a car so the bus stop right in front was very convenient. It’s a good value for what I paid.

It definitely is an older property- is seemed run down- the cleaning solution smell was over powering and for the six hours we were there- it was very expensive! The shuttle driver was nice but it felt like we were an inconvenience to him.

Shuttle to airport is convenient, parking is very reasonable. Finally able to start to unwind before this vacation even though we have to fly out at 6am. We will be missing the breakfast but the fridge and microwave in room allows us to have a breakfast before we take the shuttle at 4am. The area is quiet allowing us to sleep easily.

My wife and I were traveling from our home in SC to RI for a family emergency, we were approximately 14 hours late for check in due to mechanical problems and I was informed by a not so friendly desk staff that our reservation was canceled. The hotel lobby was dirty and the four other people in the lobby looked like they were homeless and living in this hotel. I rate this homeless shelter one half star as their outdoor landscaping was nice. I am STILL waiting for my 600.00 dollars to be refunded!! I will never use Hotels.com again.
When the grass looks greener on the other side, it may be, but chances are it is Astroturf.
