It was fine. Good airport hotel. My only complaint is that the sheets were low thread count and therefore itchy, and the pillows. Ugh. I don't know why hotels insist on only having those awful down pillows that are just flat and floppy and you have to bunch them to get any volume, which makes them hard as a rock, so your ear falls asleep before you do. Seriously, who likes those things?

We have stayed here previously. The hotel is well managed from the front desk to the cleanliness of the rooms. It is a great option when coming in on late flights to RDU or early morning flights.

Not enough parking spaces. I had to sit and wait to see if anyone came out to leave, so that

This is a Marriott-linked hotel near the Raleigh-Durham airport ( 5 miles). The staff were pleasant and the room was pretty standard. The hotel is isolated -- nothing to do, nowhere to dine. I signed up for a free ride to RDU at 5 AM but the driver never showed up. I was lucky that an Uber driver was available, otherwise I would have missed my flight.

The evening staff were helpful, but they didn't set up the morning shuttle, so we had to re-request it in the morning to get to the airport. It was also confusing that there were two Fairfield Inns named similarly, which made our airport transport at night more difficult. We were initially dropped at the other location nearby and at that facility, they were not helpful in getting to where we needed to be. Once we arrived at the Brier Creek, we were treated well, thankfully. The room and facilities were in good condition.

The property is in a residential area close to the airport, shopping, and the Research Triangle Park area. The room was smaller than I expected for a King Deluxe. They staff was amazing!

Don't let the Lobby fool you, it looks fine, but once you get into the bowels of the hotel - aka your floor and room...yikes! Carpet looks like it has never been vacuumed, furniture is scratched up and old, bathroom was small and gross, lighting was straight out of a horror movie. Weird fixes to the bathroom wallpaper (?) they used caulk to repair its peeling off the walls. The window had more living spiders and spider webs than Disney's haunted mansion. The 'selection' if you were hungry from their lobby consisted of barely anything - like 2 hot pockets, an off brand meat loaf (just 1), one tiny strawberry ice cream (that was the sum total of all the ice cream), a few candy bars and if you wanted a beer, they had 1 of 4 kinds of beers (for a grand total of 4 beers). The blanket on the bed was felt more like a burlap sack or straight up sandpaper - pillows were like if you grabbed a bunch of fill from an old sleeping bag circa 1972 and put them in a pillow case, no form, no structure, no sleep... We instantly felt like we were in the movie Psycho when we entered the room. So, if that is your vibe - then you'll love this place. Otherwise, stay away. On the up side, the staff were pleasant and helpful at the front desk, so they were a plus - We liked Bill and the other guy who was telling us his favorite restaurants in the area - Also, free shuttle to the airport was a plus. But save yourself from the Twilight Zone as far as the room is concerned.

Our original room did not have working hot water but with a call to the desk they immediately offered us a room transfer. Customer service was great and staff was friendly. I would stay again.
