Our family traveled to Rochester with 3 young kids and stayed here for 4 nights. PROS: It was very family-friendly, great breakfast for both parents and kids, FREE washer/dryer usage (just bring your laundry soap), convenient parking, plenty of free shows on the TV for kids and families, rooms were clean and requests were met by the cleaning staff, front desk staff was very helpful, plenty of closeby restaurants and shopping.
CONS;
No water to drink at breakfast (juice and coffee was available), sloppy tile work and trim in the bathroom (cosmetic only, but could look much better easily).
Overall, we were very impressed, and wouldn't hesitate to bring our family back to this hotel!

Our go to hotel when we travel. Love the spacious rooms. Could have done without the fire alarm going off for half an hour(burnt toast in breakfast area) but rang through all the rooms. We weren’t sure if we had to evacuate or not. Would love if you would open one in Port Huron Michigan. Love the one in Saginaw with the outdoor fire tables

This hotel was very convenient to shopping and dining options and a short drive from the airport. There is this wonderful antique mall within walking distance. The staff is super helpful and friendly and there were many options on the breakfast buffet.

I’ve stayed at better Home2 Suites. The toilet needed to be plunged, the pool was closed, two light bulbs in the ceiling were dead, the beds were full instead of queens and the bathroom door didn’t close all the way. Breakfast is what you’d expect, parking is free.

While at this hotel my car was broken into. The staff did nothing in our time of need. They wouldn’t even call the police. I had to drive my car with broken glass all over the seat to clean it up. I have been traveling to this area for 4 years and this is the first time a hotel in this area was this bad. Would not recommend it to anyone.

I travel a lot for work and was highly disappointed in this hotel. The shower was literally filled with pubes (refer to pics) when we arrived. The walls are PAPER THIN. We could hear the next door neighbor party all night to six in the morning. Not great considering our eight year old had a dance competition at 8am two days in a row. Not to mention, the hotel supplied alarm clock kept going off at 5am the two days we stayed there. We couldn’t figure out how to turn it off and decided to unplug it the second time.
Upon check out, we told the hotel staff about our unhappiness and they didn’t seem to care. They just said they “would tell the executives”.
Skip on this property if you can. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Hotel was good, but many vehicles (ours included) had their windows smashed in the parking lot with items stolen TWO nights in a row!! No security cameras! Hope no one is ever assaulted in that parking lot. They need security cameras. Hotel guests were not warned this was happening. Incidents were downplayed when guests questioned front desk staff. Would not stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Home2 hotel and I have to say, it was a disappointing experience. Firstly, the ceilings were paper thin, and as a result, I could hear little kids running around and jumping off the beds half the night. It was impossible to get a good night's sleep with all the noise.
To make matters worse, the room we booked was not as advertised. We specifically booked a room with a king bed and a tub, but when we arrived, we were given a room with neither. Instead, we were given a small room with a double bed and a shower. This was unacceptable, especially considering the amount we paid for the room.
Additionally, the door to the bathroom wouldn't close properly and did not have a mechanism to lock, which was a major inconvenience. It was uncomfortable to use the bathroom without proper privacy and made for an awkward situation for me and my travel companions.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Home2 hotel. The paper thin ceilings, incorrect room accommodations, and bathroom door issues made for a terrible experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

We booked the stay since traveling with an EV. Hotel promotes EV charging. Upon arrival all spaces were taken by non-EV’s.
