It should not be listed as a 4 1/2 star venue/hotel/villa,
the door electronic lock was broken they bypassed it by jimmying the key plate, the only way to lock that door was by $2.00 shed slide lock, a safety issue, the room had mold, the room had several cockroaches, the patio doors were unaligned, making them UNABLE to close properly, a safety issue, plugged in the fridge sparks shot out of the outlet, no on site place to eat, the toilet wouldn't flush, I have pictures of all the items listed. I did not stay, I left by taxi and had to book a hotel, The Courtyard by Marriot, I have PROOF of checking in on the 9th, I have picture proof of the room.

Rooms here were nice and the beach was beautiful. But this is by No Means what was advertised! There is absolutely no food here and both “restaurants” look like they’ve been closed for years. The only thing open was the sand bar that is basically a run down shack that serves beer from a cooler and mixed drinks from bottles that have been sitting in the sun all day. If you’re looking for a nice quiet retreat id recommend this place. But if you’re looking for a resort with amenities stay on the north side of the island. Uber is non existent on the island so you need to rent a car or pay big money for a taxi if you want to leave the motel at all.

The property is very old and in disrepair. The manager wasn’t even aware that we were arriving. Our rooms were poorly equipped and could have been cleaner. Their amenities said they have a restaurant but it was more like a takeout menu. On the good side the people were very friendly and the manager went out of her way to arrange a morning taxi for us.

All the staff had really good manners. If you’re traveling solo or without children or a looking to spend a quick night, this place is for you. Anything over 1 night, I wouldn’t recommend. The electricity went out twice, clogged toilet, no housekeeping. Old furniture, old fridge with peeling paints. Needs renovation.
No breakfast as advertised.
On a private beach (unclean), quiet, friendly staff, near downtown. If you’re staying there, just don’t go with any 5 star hotel expectations and be prepared to drive a few miles for food.

Authentic Bahamian experience. If you’re looking to be a pampered tourist like at an all-inclusive hotel, don’t come here. This beautifully scenic and delightfully quiet paradise is for the traveler looking to relax and enjoy natural beauty. The shrimp gyro is out of this world delicious. We were terribly sad to leave as we made friends with the entire staff at Coral Harbour Beach House & Villas. In 4 days, we have become great friends.

Overall a very good experience for the price. What to beware of: most of the rooms DO NOT have partial ocean view, they mostly face the parking lot (beach is in the distance beyond the trees); rooms don't have working TVs; rooms don't come with water as advertised, you have to ask. The staff is super but very overworked, they have too much to deal with so most requests take ages - including the food as many have written. The chef is very nice and does her best to provide everything you request. Vanessa at the front office is very obliging and does her best to keep everyone happy. The beach here isn't turquoise blue like it is on the north shore, BUT it also isn't swarmed with other tourists - it's pretty private and you get a Bahamian feel as opposed to big resorts that feel like you're in key west. The conch salad here is super (get the scorched version), and you get a local flavor. They even pack up food for you to eat in your rooms if you wish (although they say they don't really have room service, they will do their best for you). There's also a market and dominos right nearby which is convenient. Hotel needs to put water and coffee in the rooms daily!! get the TVs working! But overall a little gem of a place - just keep your expectations in check and remember that even crappy bit hotels in Nassau cost hundreds of dollars more and aren't as good or as private.

We stayed here one night as a stopover, mostly because it was close to the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful but the condition of the room was not worth the price. We paid 300 USD for the night so I expected something much nicer. The AC was leaking water (they fixed it), the TV didn’t work, the key code for the door didn’t work, the room was dark and felt dated. I also realized too late in the night that we only had three pillows on our beds for four people so I used towels for a pillow. 300 is too much for the conditions of the room.

If you’re looking for a quite and wild place, far from the city, this will be perfect.
Precious (the bartender) was amazing in taking care of us and helping in getting us a car.
You will need a car to move around the island, buses are not common and taxi are expensive. Overall was very good time staying here!

when we arrived at the property it was a run down dump. All the lights were off and the doors were locked! We thought we were going to be robbed in the parking lot. I cannot believe Expedia would promote such a place.
