Checked in after a long day of travelling. Had to wait several minutes before someone came to the desk. The clerk was grumpy for lack of a better description. I was booked into an accessible room, which clearly I didn't need but there was no attempt to put me in a more suitable room and leave that room for someone who may need it. Didn't explain the amenities - breakfast, wifi, pool, etc or even the trick to turning on lights in the room - apparently there is a master switch that has to be on - would have been good to know - I had to call the front desk to ask! She truly made me feel like an inconvenience. For $179 a night, and that was a discounted rate from Expedia, ridiculous for a very basic room. The breakfast was a non-event, all four juices from the dispenser were some watery liquid, definitely not juice. If you prefer a healthy breakfast, you are out of luck. I'm sure this hotel appeals to families with the pool and 'breakfast' but for the business traveler where rest is imperative, I'd give it a firm pass.

Asked for a late check out- my dad had heart surgery in Vancouver, travelled to PG on the way home spent the night to go to my sons lacrosse game. Hotel would only give a 30minutes extra for late check out. Very disappointing as most places I’ve been always allow at least 1 hr.

Strikeout at Pomeroy.
The plug in the bath would not stay open during showering. So dirty water would pool around the feet. The hotel cancelled daily room service (unless you asked for it before 10AM). A chintzy move for the most expensive hotel in PG with the slowest elevators in town, no pens on the work desk, and dirty sheets on my second pricey night.
The rest was alright - television and cable in good working order, good bed, easy, free parking, varied breakfast selection, adequate location, even if a bit removed from good restaurants (unless you count Montana's). Decent amenities overall. Pomeroy drops the ball on the extras.
Dogs permitted in the breakfast area is just too much for me. Two dogs stared intently as I ate my food. It felt as though I were staying in a kennel, not a hotel.

Extremely disappointed in the room. The bed was wrinkled and dirty. Then elevator broke while downstairs and had no way up to 4 floor briefly. They fixed and that was great, however it was a precursor to the screaming children running up and down the halls till past
Midnight, up and down the stairs. The pool, we booked our time, but lazy parents sat there while at least 20 plus girls screamed and screamed while going in 8’s down the slide. Parents?, nope they were watching. The screams were unbearable inside the pool. No staff came to check or tell them not to be so unsafe. Again at 7am slamming doors and running until checkout. Not recommended if you come without kids. Would not come back for the price.

I was traveling with family and had booked 2 rooms. At check in we discovered that both rooms were lacking an extra bed we required. At that time the front desk clerk went above and beyond insuring we got a different room with a bed required. He was very polite and accommodating.
