Microtel Inn by Wyndham Ciudad Juarez/By US Consulate

I was disappointed with the staff, after our long flight I ask if we can check in 10 minutes before 3pm. Front desk staff stayed no, she claimed our room was not ready. Later that day we find out by housekeeping staff, our room had been vacant for the last few days. We ended up checking in at 3:10pm because many other people were trying to check in all at the same time. Also the gym equipment was broken, I was very disappointed.

We stayed here for appointments at the consulate. It’s very close to the consulate and the hotel is close to many food options. Specific staff need training in customer service, but as a whole, the staff was pleasant. Relatively close with to the airport. Breakfast was good, not great. The room was a perfect size for a family of 4. I do recommend this hotel and would stay again if visiting Juárez.

The mean/rude girl at reception was let go two weeks ago. The new girl, the tall man, the young man with glasses and Alicia were very kind, friendly, educated, helpful beyond words. Water pressure awesome!!! Rooms cleaned and looked renovated. Denys and Wendi’s and the mall close by. Ciudad Juarez not so clean and people are tired of turists and immigrants. DIDI is cheaper than taxis. The tour of the city was ok but nothing to see really. So definitely coming back to the hotel was the best part. Our experience at Microtel was the best and will recommend to my friends. Thank you to the staff at Mircrotel for EVERYTHING they did for us.

i don’t need a taxi to go to all my consulate appointments. many cops in the area very safe.
