We stay at the Bay Plaza every time we visit Wellington, great location with a view of the city and harbour. Friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms, restaurant on site and walking distance to the city. It has parking available on site but unfortunately cannot book ahead. Would recommend this hotel to others.A

Great experience from booking ( friendly and helpful staff) to being on the top floor with views of the city and harbour. Spacious room, clean and tidy with everything you need. Easy walking distance to cafe, Te papa, Takina, Oriental Bay, new world and more. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others, extra bonus it has onsite parking.

The location is top tier with great parking at a cheap rate! The staff are all super friendly and helpful. The rooms are showing their age a bit, but it's more than comfortable enough. I would stay again 😀

Great location and parking out back. Staff are friendly and very helpful too. Bathrooms are kinda out dated and no AC but enough blankets to stay warm during the night. Cool overall.

Our second stay. Great location. Easy walk to evening dining on the waterfront. Good amount of space for parking motorcycles without taking up parking spaces or having risk of damage.

Great to have parking on site - Wellington is dreadful for convenient parking. The food in the restaurant was very very good. The walls seemed to be made of paper as you could hear toilets flushing, running water and often, voices.

Location is the only good thing. Rooms are dated, bathrooms even more so. The reception staff at check in were not wanting to be there and for the cost and advertising of hotel staff not very well presented. Location is great and walkable to great local restaurants.on site parking is a bonus and extra cost at $20. Breakfast is not an experience, cold coffee and toast, very poor

The location is perfect for shopping, dining out, Te Papa museum, beach, we walked to restaurants and the bonus is cheap and safe onsite parking and a big room with a view of the CBD and harbour. On this stay we used the laundry facilities and restaurant. Would highly recommend this Hotel to others, Thanks again we will be back again soon. Nick & Rachel
