Copthorne Hotel Wellington, Oriental Bay

I was particularly impressed by how quiet it was. Also, when I was looking for the overflow parking, a staff member walked out with me and physically showed me where it was...I was very grateful as I had completely missed it.

Handy to Wellington airport for an early morning international flight

Room was very cold when I arrived there. Had to try and work out how the TV worked only to find some of the buttons on the remote didn't work. As someone coming from outside the area, to find the parking was a little bit difficult.

Easy travel frombthe ferry

Tired hotel but in a great location to visit Te Papa etc. Supposedly we got an upgraded room, can’t imagine what the other rooms must be like. Our room involved two elevators and a fairly long walk with our heavy cases to get to. Not for people with mobility issues. Room was shabby and tired with a very strange window and blind set up in the bathroom. Front desk staff were fairly clueless about the vouchers etc for breakfast. We had been assured of parking too only to have to leave our car on the street. The ONLY thing going for this hotel IMO is the buffet breakfast, well worth the money. Wouldn’t go back to this hotel.

No air conditioner charge me twice for parking which they haven’t reversed back. I’m so disappointed

Had a room with an amazing view. It was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The shower was NOT above a bath so that was great for us slightly older couple. The hotel is walkable to Courtney Place or Oriental Bay. We paid $25 extra for parking. Check in was capably and warmly dealt with by Maia.Check out was efficient too but the man did not have a name badge like Maia. Great one night stay.

Didn't like arriving with cleaners still cleaning and taking up all the corridor space with their trolleys but can imagine how difficult it could be cleaning so many rooms between in four hours - check staff were great - breakfast was fantastic - parking was a bit hairy but at least we got a park....would stay again - didn't realise a $369 pn room would be a studio - not even a knife - but happy in the end

Front desk stuff were wonderful. A little confusing about where to pull up and the hotel’s parking area is a little tight but given the location, the fact that they have any parking available is awesome. Room was very nice.

Conviently located but parking was a challenge.
