Outside area a little questionable especially at night but safe. Only 1 working elevator due to construction. Room nice and comfortable while traveling with 16 yr old. Breakfast bar good.

Only 1 of 3 elevators worked. Run down lobby, parking, entrance. Public areas shabby, need paint and repair. The rooms were fine - perhaps they’ve been updated. The rest of the property needs maintenance attention.

This facility was not what we expected. One elevator did not work. The one that did was old and in poor condition. The walls had temporary boards on them. The parking was not very secure. The room was clean and comfortable but getting to it raise questions about overall conditions.

Overall it was a good experience. I had read about the elevators and although we didn’t experience long wait times they were a bit of a needed upgrade. It was noisy with sirens and someone decided to honk their horn in the parking lot for 30 minutes at 5:30am. Would definitely stay again but again noisy then where we usually stay.

great location and great price. the only gripe would be the cleanliness of the bathtub: it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't spotless. a little soap grime that was unpleasant after a long flight and needing a hot bath to soak in.

Needs updated and worked on. 1 out of three elevators worked. Not a great neighborhood. If there is an event at the Clay Center, patrons of this event use the hotel parking lot, leaving little parking for guests.

I reserved a 2 queen bedroom for 3 nights as I had my wife and daughter with me. Upon check in it was revealed that only a king was available. So not wanting to complain I obliged. Then it was 5th floor and the elevator was out. Really not happy now. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. I really didn't want to unload on the front desk clerk as she was simply doing her job. However with only about 15 cars in the parking lot I can't believe there wasn't another double queen available. Probably wont stay here again

Only had 1 elevator working, only big enough to hold 2 people. Had to walk 8 flights of stairs with a child. Whole place smells like weed. Room wasnt even ready when we got there after 5pm.

Location is A++Easy access from 77. Across street from Clay Center (Discovery Museum is a FANTASTIC place for kids). A very short and safe walk to Appalachian Power Ballpark—go Dirty Birds! The room was clean, very, very comfortable and quiet.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and kind. 😁. One elevator was down. A decent hot breakfast was available—but you need to get there at the very beginning of the serving hours—they didn’t replenish anything.😟 Staff was kind enough to bring out individual milk containers when asked. The outdoor pool was very small and very, very, very dirty.😜. It was nice having a 12p check out. We didn’t feel rushed in the morning and we were given permission to keep the car parked in the parking lot while we took the kids to the Discovery Museum. The good far outweighs the bad and the ugly. We will definitely stay there again.
