We arrived at midnight with our 2 sleeping toddlers to sleep for 4 hours before an early flight. I was forced to provide $100 cash deposit at the time of check in, which I obtained through an ATM behind locked door of an old restaurant that was dark and holding old supplies. I felt like someone could have been waiting in there to abduct me. I was told at the time of check out, the desk clerk would have to go back up in to the room to confirm we were not smoking and that our deposit would be returned to us. At 4am no one was at the desk or answering the front desk phone, and after waiting 30 minutes we had to leave. I signed a lot of paperwork including the deposit at the time of check in but did not receive any copies myself. After calling Wyndham, I was told they don't know how they will return my deposit. When I asked to have a check mailed to me, I was told they couldn't do that. The hotel and the area felt unsafe. We will dispute our credit card charge until we receive our $100 deposit back. Horrific, would never stay here again.

This was my 1st time ever staying at one of your hotels and let me tell you! I would like a full REFUND after my disturbing stay at your hotel. The bulding its self was dirty. It smelled bad. The room smelled bad. The carpet had stains all over it. There where cigarette burns on the furniture(Dressers,Shower, and even a cigarette burn on the bed sheet. I had to sleep with towels on the bed because I wasnt sure the sheets where even changed then). The bathroom light didnt work or was hard to figure out because it wasnt a normal light switch to flick. Also the phone didnt work. So if I had an emergency I had to take the elevator down to the lobby to talk to someone. This was by far the worst experience i have ever had at a Hotel. Especially one that is supposed to be near the airport. You really need to look into this hotel. It is very very embarrassing to have a hotel in that type of poor condition to be open. I have video's and pictures of my room to prove everything I have said. This was not a comfortable hotel at all to stay at. I will not be staying at thos particular hotel again. I would like a full REFUND back of my money very soon. I think that is fair with the conditions the hotel was in. Thank you.

The parking lot had several people standing around cars and people yelling off the balcony's. I did not feel safe in the parking lot so I left and had to stay somewhere else, I never even got out of the car to even check in. Balconies had concrete broken off from the parking lot view and they did not look safe either. It would be great to be refunded for the stay that I was unable to use do to the unsafe area

“Ah, where to begin with this gem of a place? Travelodge by Wyndham Cleveland Airport, a destination so charming it’s like stepping back into 18th-century Europe, or perhaps a delightful stroll through the bustling shanty towns of Africa’s finest slums. The aroma that greeted me upon entering the lobby was nothing short of an olfactory adventure—one that I wish upon no one.
Undeterred by the initial assault on my senses, I bravely ventured forth to inspect my quarters. What a sight to behold! The room was a true masterpiece of neglect, with beds adorned in mysterious stains that could rival the finest modern art. The chairs, oh the chairs, proudly displaying what can only be described as rodent-inspired avant-garde droppings. And let’s not forget the pièce de résistance—walls adorned with what I can only hope are artistic interpretations of ancient hieroglyphs, though they suspiciously resembled blood stains.
So, dear fellow travelers, I implore you: spare yourselves the adventure I embarked upon. Do not risk life and limb by gracing this establishment with your presence. Consider my sacrifice your warning beacon, guiding you away from the abyss of Travelodge by Wyndham Cleveland Airport. Your future self will thank you, trust me.”

Nothing bad happened, but except for the electronic door locks, the hotel looks like it hadn't been updated much since the 1950s. Better than camping out without a tent, but not much.
Should never be recommended by any reputable travel service

questionable cleanliness; a lot of damage to the property - a fist through the wall in the room, dirty walls, lights that didn't work, door stops damaged....elevators rundown.
Wyndham should be embarrassed to have its name attached to this travelodge

The stucco on the outside of the building was falling off, so looked very sketchy. The hallways were very dingy which promoted an unsafe feel to the overall facility. The towels were like sandpaper. The room itself wasn't bad, but we didn't feel safe in the hallways and in the parking lot. We would not recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I elected to stay here (Travelodge by Wyndham) in Cleveland OH.
We booked this stay simply because my wife had an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic. We didn't mind a "no- frills" hotel because we were just staying 1 night. The pictures shown, seemed to be a decent room... I've never saw anything like this in my life ! There were cigarette burns in the blankets and sheets. ( I'd thought I got a no smoking room. My bad ) the furniture was beaten and scared up, with rough edges, you stayed away from it of fear of splinters.
The wall paper was coming off the walls, multiple holes in the sheet rock, blood remnants (staining) underneath the toilet seat, a balcony door that had a sign that said it would only open 5 inches. ( suicide/ homicide prevention ? ) Years of dust and dirt in bathroom vent on wall, receptacles were loose to plug into. Cell phone wouldn't charge. The 90's / early 2000's analog TV that had no clear picture.. Lines and static. Very low water pressure, and limited hot water. My wife couldn't take a bath because there was no drain plug. (which we never got) You had to ask for anything you needed. (if they had it ). My wife overheard 2 thugs talking about doing crack while that night and waking up to seeing it had snowed. I've stayed at travel lodges before, and were nice. I'm really surprised that Wyndham puts their name on this place. It stinks, it's old and musty. Crack House!
Won't let me leave pics. But I have them.
