Holiday Inn Express & Suites Everett, an IHG Hotel

This hotel is what I love about HIE all over the country. Systemic uniformity and the expectation of at least the minimum of the brands standards being kept. This little hotel isn’t the newest, and is in the most inconvenient location to get to the parking lots (hidden behind other businesses- you sort of have to go through parking lots to get to it). But the rooms are exactly what you get from the east coast to the west coast and from the south to the north. The breakfast is dependent on who is stocking it. Day one was a coffee bottle neck because the lady forgot to hit the start button after about 4 people complained about needing new coffee, I thought people where going to go brew it themselves at that point, the next day, different lady, no waiting on anything. The spa was down which wasn’t a bonus as I was hold and looking forward to hot tub but the pool is a decent size.

Wonderful customer service and a good spread for breakfast. Easy on-site parking and a number of eateries were within easy walk-in distance. Bedroom was spacious and bed and pillows were comfortable. Thin walls though so you can hear noise from next-door and upper floor rooms. Overall, we enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel.

Close to Paine field for flights

The reason I booked this property is because we have an early morning flight out of PAE and they claimed to have a shuttle service to the airport which they do not. So we have to rely on a taxi.

I liked the room, it was comfortable. There is alot of parking to choose from and they give you a little parking pass. But you can hear people coming down the hall, and there is an additional lock on the inside of the door that did not latch into place. Which for me was a little scary because I'm a woman when traveling alone. When I checked in I waited a bit at the desk and once the woman saw me she huffed loudly and just looked like she checked in 20 people in a row.

Clean property with some work needed on the bath tub, can see the ring, but nothing housekeeping can do as tub must be old. They must have done some work recently as looks overall good. Liked that entry area is not carpeted. Good choice of breakfast items and glad parking is not extra like other places in Seattle. Pool is basic and i feel sorry for those who have to clean up after guests who have used it with little consideration for others. They went through to lift leaving a trail of water. Would stay again at the price point i paid.

I wish there was an airport shuttle. Breakfast was excellent!

It was near the Everett airport

Had a great night. Quiet, clean, comfortable. Was not impressed with some loud delinquents hanging out in the parking lot by where my truck was parked. Everything was fine, but could have done without that.

It’s okay. A room is clean but only couple dots of stain on the sheets. Very noisy outside(no matter window opened or closed) because big hwy near by, and our room window was above garbage bin, so early morning were so noisy by garbage track too(I woke up by garbage track noises around 5am)also I saw couple times sketchy people looking for food or stuff inside hotels garbage bin. Breakfast is good bonus for your travel, but not exciting things are there. I stayed two night, and first day has bacon which is good, second day has sausage but taste awful.(two choice of sausages, patty sausage that simply I don’t like, skinny traditional sausage was too hard skin(or too dry)and I couldn’t chew and taste was bad) The first day was no fruits at all(I asked breakfast room lady but she said no fruits), second day has banana(no other fruits) Everyday has factory-premade-omelette, hot oatmeal, muffins but taste not good(mossy and sticky outside of muffins), only fresh pancakes made by machine, individual cup yogurts were taste good. I wish they have soy milk for who can’t drink dairy. But you can access to coffee/tea station 24hr anytime, that convenient at night time tea or grab coffee before your road trip. Last things, front desk men was very helpful, also girl who working at front desk was friendly, those people always makes me happy. This hotels has pros and cons, but I’ll stay again, Because people nice, room is clean, and price is affordable.
