Drury Inn & Suites Grand Rapids

I wish there were more Drury Inns! We don’t have to even think about traveling with our own pillow when staying at the Drury Inns. The room was pristine. Bathroom looked brand new. I’d be tempted to go buy a shower head just like theirs for our home if I could find out the brand and model. The Kick Back at 5:30 -7pm is always welcome as we can park, settle in, and not go back out for a bite to eat. This Drury Inn in Grand Rapids has a very accommodating and friendly staff, spacious eating area, plus a kitchen/ bar that is open til midnight. We were going to use the pool but ended up retiring to our room so I cannot comment on that other than to say it was there and the area looked clean. Drury is always my first choice and I’m glad to see they are growing in number. A great value!

I love this hotel. The staff is always so friendly, the room was beautiful and in excellent condition, the evening appetizers, although it was a full out meal with barbecue sliders and soup and salad and hotdogs and and and… Just absolutely wonderful. We were taking a flight out very early in the morning so I can not comment on the breakfast. The only thing that bothered me was that when we left at 4:45 in the morning, I could not find a front desk person, even though the sign said to pick up the phone and call. The phone just rang and rang, and there were a few other cards on the front desk. No one to be found for quite a long time so I just wound up putting my card on the desk as well and left. Other than that, a very enjoyable stay.

Yes, the manager (whose name I cannot recall) remembered from a brief conversation during check-in that my birthday was four days later. She immediately wished me a Happy Birthday when we passed in the hall and had passed along the information to the other desk staff who added well wishes when I checked out. Overall, the best hotel experience I have had in months (and I travel monthly).

They went the extra mile. Dinner for the guests at no extra charge? That was a bonus! I have come to expect breakfast’s at premium hotels, but dinner too? Come on man. Worth noting. Although we do not drink alcoholic beverages, free drink tickets were a nice touch. When it comes to hotel stays, especially near airports, the Drury is an excellent choice.

We loved it here traveled with my daughter the room was nice and clean comfy. They offered free snacks from 5 30 to 7. Pool and hot tub were nice, bar service within the hotel was awesome. Driving distance to a target and many places to eat! And the free continental breakfast was so food with lots of options we will be trying to stay in drurys for now on! 10/10

Property was fully booked i believe. Pool, dining, parking overcrowded. Property a bit worn in public spaces. Due to number of people staying common areas not that clean. People at pool with alcohol needed some better manners.

I had never stayed at a Drury property before booking this stay. I had asked for an early check in and the hotel did an amazing job trying to accommodate. The hotel is dated in some respects however makes up ten fold with their customer experience. I have never stayed at a hotel that the staff regardless of position is so focused on ensuring we were enjoying our stay and were satisfied with our experience. The customer service was above and beyond any stay we’ve had and we travel a fair amount.

This hotel was a nice surprise. The staff team are terrific and the rooms are spacious and practical for work travelers. I’ll stay here again.
