Check in was fine and she was friendly and helpful. No airport shuttle even though the website said it had one. The hallway and lobby were pretty tired looking. The room was beat. Tub/shower probably should have been replaced a while ago. Room wasn’t very clean and didn’t even have a coffee maker. Just needed a place to crash before a flight and this worked but wasn’t great.

Do not book a room here if you are with a family. This hotel is gross and did not feel safe. The gross part…humidity levels very high throughout the hotel as the AC was not working in hallways, dirt and mold and mildew growing around our toilet and shower, dirty and old carpets, trash scattered throughout the parking lot, we observed a prostitute soliciting her services in the parking lot, and a bare bones breakfast that included frozen bagels. Front desk attendant made no eye contact, mumbled when talking, had AirPods in when speaking with me, and didn’t care about our experience at all. Other items of note: the pool is closed and looks like it won’t ever reopen, the hotel is located in a scary part of town, the breakfast is not something you would want to eat, and check your room actually has toilet paper and soap before needing it (ours didn’t). We literally have nothing positive to say about our stay at this la Quinta.

Airport Shuttle out of order, told it wouldn't be repaired until next week (no excuse-Indianapolis is a big city, surely same day service is available somewhere or maybe they should have multiple shuttles in case of break down.) Pool out of order with no signs of intent to clean or repair it (seriously, disgustingly dirty view of pool from my room.) Ice machine out of order, sign stuck to it with what appeared to be chewing gum. TV in exercise room out of order. Will not be staying here again, as I expect none of these issues will actually be addressed given the state of the place and the "can't do" attitude of the staff.

Check in staff was not friendly. Our bathroom was in rough shape, chipped paint on the door. The toilet was not clean. The bathtub had a stain on the bottom. The swimming pool was closed. Shady looking people were hanging around in the parking lot.On our arrival there were people checking in that appeared to be a man and two sex workers.Very disappointed in our stay. Felt like we were at a cheap motel. Would not recommend to anyone!!!

The bath tub was dirty and stained, there was no maid service, the carpet was dirty, the lobby couches were stained. The good part was that the front desk attendant was also the airport shuttle driver which only cost 5.00.

Overall the hotel is not bad. The parking lot needs a lot of work. There's considerable concrete damage - the scrape gard on my Corolla took a hit due to a broken drain channel in the middle of the lot that you have to cross to exit/enter the lot. There's an abandoned/collapsing building in the parking lot (old restaurant?) that's about the only view you'll get from half the rooms. The lobby looks fairly well kept, clean, and smelled nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The outer doors leading from the rooms to the parking lot need repairs, but they're secure. The stairwells that connect to the hotel hallways need to be repaired and updated. The hallways themselves were decent, and clean. The room was clean, and the carpet looked fairly new. Plaster damage on the walls at the wall joints, but the room looked like they've been trying to update it. Newer TV, fresh paint on the walls, newer metal bedframes and mattresses. The beds were decently comfortable, but the pillows could stand to be replaced as they were starting to show their age. We checked key areas and found NO signs of bedbugs or pests. The microwave was very loud and didn't work well. We had to move the fridge across the room to another outlet as there were only 2 plugs in the outlet where they had it, which were occupied by the TV and microwave. The fridge had to be set to MAX just to get it cold enough to store my insulin over night. With some TLC this hotel could be very nice.

This property received good reviews so I was willing to take a chance. I think they are doing the best they can with the facility, but the rooms are rundown and dirty (at least ours was). Everything smelled Like smoke and there were stains on the linens. We had a late flight and didn’t arrive until 11:30 pm. Had we arrived sooner, I would have found a different hotel.

I receptionist was rude. The shuttle did not run at the times I needed. They gave me a cab number that was out of order. I did not stay and they refused to refund my money. I have stayed there several times before. I left and went to a Holiday Inn where everything was fantastic. I will NEVERgo back there.
