Extended Stay America Select Suites - Louisville - Airport

The stay was good once we got there. One thing that was not advertised is that the front desk closes and although they say you can arrange for late check in, once their system resets after midnight, your reservation will be canceled as a no show if you haven'tarrived. Luckily I called ahead and was apprised of this. We had to change plans and travel sooner in order to get there before the reset. It was inconvenient and we won't be using this hotel again because of it.

Dirty, noisy. Lots of long-term residents living there. Dogs barking, and scratching in other rooms. The place smelled really weird. Did not feel safe in the hallways or parking lot.

Weird towel policy. We are a traveling band. We paid for 4 travelers and only got 2 towels. Was told by the front desk we’d have to pay for extra towels. Which seems very weird considering a towel is just a towel. They ended up giving us the towels for no extra charge. Weird people hanging in the parking lot all night as well. Nothing happened but I’m not into people hanging around parking lots after hours.

Stayed here for Equip Expo. It is walkable to Gate 6 of the expo center. I liked the fact that it had a shower/tub combo instead of just a shower like the hotel down the street. This side of the expo center is in a little bit of a shady neighbor. At this hotel, they have the train tracks on one side of the hotel and the interstate directly behind the hotel and a busy street in front so it is not quiet. The rooms had hard surfaces instead of carpet and the room itself was clean. The hallways are still carpeted and they weren't so clean and you could obviously smell several rooms partaking in the 420 even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel with strict penalties for smoking (clearly not being enforced). The kitchenette in the room is nice with a full sized fridge/freezer and microwave and stove top and sink. Good price, easy parking.

We purchased our hotel stay at 9pm as we had a change to our flight and wouldn't arrive until after midnight due to weather. I messaged the property letting them know that it would be a very late check in. We only wanted it as we didn't want to drive home two hours after not sleeping all day and then arriving so late. Once we arrived to the hotel the office was closed and there was a phone asking to call if checking in after hours. We tried calling multiple times without response. A tenant of the hotel happened to come out and stated they would call management and called Terry. Terry told me they couldn't check us in as it was after midnight and they couldn't give us a room despite paying in full already. We called Expedia immediately and let them know and they opened a claim to get our money back. The hotel never reached back out and never refunded us our money despite not being able to stay. We were out our money AND had to drive home anyways. Still have not been refunded and it's now a week later. Terrible service. Terrible follow through. Terrible experience and will never book another stay through this company ever again.

N the ne was there to check you in for f you come late . Have to call 800 number then they will call someone staying in the property to come check you in .In there pj”s . Women trying to solicit you while trying to check in asking if I wanted any company for the night . To many people hanging out n parking lot.

It was unique how terrible the staff was. Customer service clearly was not in their job description. Front desk lady had no manners or sense of urgency with customers. Took 15mins of me standing at the front desk calling out for someone to come help. Whole time she was in the back wasting time. Never again will i stay or recommend this to anyone and im always traveling to the Expo center right behind the building. Isnt it unique how one unworthy employee can lose so much revenue ?

It took a hour and a half longer to get my room ready. They were short staffed. So I waited in my car in the parking lot for that time. But when I went into the main lobby to check in, the whole lobby smelled very, very strong of weed. It was a no smoking hotel and I believe the smell was from an employee and not a person staying there.

very close to the airport, convenient.

Drug dealer in the parking lot and homeless encampment right by the parking lot. No breakfast at all, security doors were almost impossible to open at times. Main desk was closed far more than it was open.
