Sleep Inn & Suites Metairie

First there was no parking, but not because every spot was full but because many many care were taking uo 2 spots. We parked down the street. Waited for 30 min at the front desk ... no one was there. I actually peeked behind the counter to make sure the attendant didnt have a medical emergency or worse. Finally he showed up. I get checked in, my entire floor smelled like Marijuana and was in disrepair. We get to the room, the bedding was stained, 2 lights didnt work, paint was peeling off the walls and the bathtub would not turn off. Being as it was our only option we stayed. In hindsight i wish i would have slept in the truck or just went home, because we woke up with a terrible headache, completely stuffed up. Overall avoid this property, youd be just as well off getting a 30 dollar room somewhere.

Didn't like that guest parked over or on the line in the parking lot and it was already a small lot. My room was top what I expected ceiling and walls were dirty and wood on dresser and fridge are damaged (wet/dry-rotten) I did like the front desk staff they were friendly!

The elevator was out. There was not enough parking spots on property. The bathroom needs to be updated! I can say the property is very convenient to everything

This hotel is an excellent value. It is a tad rough around the edges but comfortable, clean, and the staff is super friendly. The best thing was the cleanliness of the room and the helpfulness of the staff. The worst thing was the mattress which was a teensy bit lumpy. Overall, I would stay here again any time I needed a place near the airport.

The elevator did not work during our stay. Thank God that a room on the first floor was available or we would have been on the 5th floor. Had a second parking lot for extra parking. Would have preferred to park at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was nice just smelled of smoke.

Their elevator is broken and I had a broken leg and kee and had to climb three flights of stairs without any help

Totally felt unsafe. The side “key only” entrance lock was broken! Door stayed ajar allowing ANYBODY to walk in off the street/parking lot. When information was shared with front desk. He seemed very unconcerned!also when the waffle batter had run out the lady in charge was rude and didn’t offer more or an apology.

This property is okay for the price you pay. Elevator was out when we actually were on 4th floor. No smoke alarm detector in room (was removed), no waffles for breakfast (it happens), cleanliness is not top priority but fine, breakfast is definitely average but available so you don’t need to go out and lastly staff was nice. We were just looking for something to stay overnight only after a late arrival from airport so worked out in the end for us.

The worst thing about the entire stay was the parking. There is very little and it's tight. The handle to door was broken but operable. The staff was very nice. The hotal appearance was awesome. The room itself was spacious and beautiful. First time in a long time I've seen a normal sized towel and I had 2 of them. I was there 5 nights. They changed towels, emptied trash and made my bed twice. I believe that is more often than the norm nowadays. I believe the price of the room was very much on level with the appearance of the hotel and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Highly recommend.

Elevator is broken. No warning beforehand. 4 flight walk to the room. I have stayed here many times when traveling for work. Building looked dirty, room was mediocre condition and was poorly stocked. No breakfast because one person no called no showed. Water pressure was bad. The building was open, none of the access doors functioned except on the rooms.
