I chose this hotel because I was visiting friends in a nearby area. It also had free parking. the rooms were small but clean. For me it was perfect. The area is not the best, but I knew that going in so I was fine with it. Convenient to highways and shopping. I would stay again if I was visiting again.

I would call it acceptable room was very small.
No closet the area seemed safe. In a combination residential commercial working class neighborhood
Bathroom was clean. Beds were very comfortable
Free parking a big plus in that neighborhood. Close to LGA which was nice

I had some issues with check in. Apparently if you get there after 1230 AM they have a right to cancel your reservation. Due to a flight delay I didn't get there until after 1AM. When I first got in I was told I was out of luck. Thankfully the guy changed his mind and was able to give me a room. Next time though I'll look for reservations guaranteed through 6AM the next day. The hotel was very clean, good size room. I was only there for a few hours since I had an early AM flight out. Thanks Grandview, I don't know what I would have done otherwise, I would have been stranded.

Very close to the airport and to the freeway, as far as the property itself great for a short weekend to travel in and out exactly what was needed.

DO NOT RECOMMEND staying here. The rating is artifically inflated. When we checked in I was directed to the wrong room and almost walked in on another guest. The concierge had no idea that room was double booked. The bathroom door handle was broken and the shower curtain was moldy. The rooms are tiny and dated and the amenities were minimal. There wasn't much available in walking distance. The only good things I can say are that the beds were a clean place to sleep and the parking was free. You absolutely get what you pay for with this place.

Great location for our needs. Restaurants and grocery shopping right outside our door. Free parking which is great in the city. Refrigerator s nice to have.
No maid service for one of our rooms. No lobby to meet your friends and sit. No shampoo in room..only soap and conditioner.

I requested a non-smoking room and yet the room smelled horribly. They spray the room but it did not help. There is no tissue, no cup, and no complimentary bottled water in the room. You may use your hand to get water from the faucet to drink. The only saving grace is availability of parking spot.
