Jake's 58 Casino Hotel - Adult Only

One of the worst places I have ever stayed . We were in the area for business and told the only local hotel/casino . Obviously the place is used by prostitutes and drug dealers / users frequently . Every taxi we took were told the place was dangerous , known for drugs , prostitution and that the gaming machines didn’t pay out . Our rooms where on the 4th floor where we would be woken by cleaners and offices OPPOSITE our rooms at 5.30 am. Our rooms weren’t cleaned once over a week , and the food in the ONE only restaurant inedible . It was obvious “ security “ were NOT checking the over 21 policy at the hotel casino , with children we’d say maximum 16 gambling . We travel all over the world and this is one of the suspicious odd uncomfortable dodgy places we have ever been into

On checkin Alymah the front desk receptionist was very recieving and friendly. The room was ok we needed a queens size bed but she explained they were all booked up. We made the best of our situation. We needed a microwave in the room because after ordering food we went to gamble, then planned on eating . My ruben was good took it home grateful for the refrigerator. We valet parked the parking staff was nice and friendly. We will return soon.

The room needs work no availability of plugs by my right side of bed to plug in charger. A tub for a shower. Really... So out dated. Room had a smell. Parking in real. I was handicap Nomeavaulabke have very little . And with the construction They had no separate parking for us hotel staying customers. As for the casino no keno really.... Machine were so tight. Wow. I will gladly go back to AZ. I spent 170 a night more like 99 . And they want 329 a night for Friday

Conveniently located, free coffee, and valet parking. Housekeeping was very helpful and friendly.

They are starting their major renovation which will take many years to do. The room was alot nicer then we expected after reading the reviews and booking. That was a relief. The clientele isnt the greatest because of the casino, Had issue bringing coffee and drinks up to our room. The guy at the door made us throw them out then realized we were staying at hotel. No apology just had to waste 15$ in drinks. Housekeeping was great. We felt bad how hard they work so we gave them 3 days off from having to clean our room, just clean towels is all we needed. Satellite tv wasnt greatest kept going in and out every couple minutes. Water pressure was horrible but we were on the 10th floor so not sure if that was the issue. Also i know were in NY and its legal for weed but omg. Every time u get off elevator to go to your room you are hit in the face with it. . Again i will state we would possibly stay here again in future if price comes down but no pool or spa or outdoor space. A major issue was parking . There are so so many people coming and going all the time and the lot is used for everyone so if your staying most likely you'll have to valet your car, which i will say they covered the cost of which was great but when you need to go somewhere quick you cant . Gottta wait for them to shuttle a staff member to get your car which will be about a mile away. We like that it is 18 and no kids. They also gave us free vouchers for 1 coffee per person and it was pretty decent coffee.

Nice hotel, terrible parking

The casino is too small for the amount of people who come on the weekend. The parking lot’s even worse as people drive around looking or park on the grass. The room didn’t seem insulated as we heard everything/everyone. The room across the hall was “the party room of young girls” who were so drunk, loud & knocking on wrong doors & screaming we’re here or let us in until 3:54am! No one from the hotel did anything or came. Several rooms called the desk. This one guy finally yelled to stop knocking on the doors & stop yelling

We’ve stayed here many times and we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. Nice TV also. Only downside was the shower head was mounted too close to the wall and you basically had to lean against the wall to get access to the water. It appeared to be a removable shower head but we couldn’t pull it off the bracket and we were afraid it would break. We tried to turn the shower head but it wouldn’t stay. My wife bumped her forehead into the soap dish (which was also too high) and cut herself. We were in room 735 (If management wants to fix it!). Finally, for the first time staying here, we had no issues finding a parking space.

Not enough parking especially handicap parking

Property is a little dated, looking forward to the improvements they are making to the hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I wasn't lucky at the casino LOL but it was fun and exciting environment. They should offer amenities for the hotel guests maybe separate entrance and parking. It was a little annoying to enter through regular entrance and show ID each time we entered back into the hotel.
