Red Carpet Inn Philadelphia Airport

Overnight stay for early departure at the airport. Room reeked of cigarette smoke, mold on the ceiling above window and black duct tape patching up bathroom door. Shuttle was very timely and staff were friendly enough.

Its a Red Carpet/Motel 6 combo, and meets the quality I expect of Motel 6. For a one night stay between flights it was ok, but barely. I wouldnt book it again.

This property was dirty, reeked of cigarette smoke and I didn’t feel safe. The airport shuttle didn’t come… I had to Lyft to the property and the address provided by Expedia was incorrect so I ended up paying double to arrive at this property. It’s listed at 600 SOUTH Government Pritz Ave and it’s actually 600 NORTH Government Pritz. Never again!

The staff were helpful and the airport shuttle was convenient. However, the room was pretty rough. My door looked like it had been kicked in at some point, the bathroom faucet would not turn off unless you messed around with it for a minute or two, and the floor was sticky. We knew when we booked it, it was not going to be anything fancy, we were just looking to get a few hours sleep before an early flight. However, it was even a little rough for me. I know there are some other options in the area, and will be looking for those in the future.

Desperate choice as our flight was delayed to nex morning. Sleeping in the airport would have been better.

No one answer the phone they promise transportation after 6 calls have to get a taxi, at the arrival the person in reception did not ask for may name just said that I was in the wrong location when I said I have a reservation didn’t even ask my name till afer a few minutes he finally said what’s your name to Realize that I actually had reservations, terrible experience didn’t even had snack or coffee, what a waste of my money, will not recommend no one to stay in this hotel.

Chose bc its close to the airport and inexpensive. I don't need much. Also bc it has a 24/7 airport shuttle. Flight arrived at midnight called for the shuttle. No answer, called for 20 minutes before finally paying $20 for an uber. Informed the young lady at front desk about no answer and then called infront of her. The ringer was off. Clearly she doesn't want to be bothered on her late shift so she turns it off herself. The room was not only dirty but falling apart. Cabinet doors missing knobs replaced with ribbons tied through the hole. Bathroom door with several holes as if someone tried to kick it in. Hair on EVERY towel, which were all stained. Sheets stained as well. First room had BED BUGS. Second room was in better condition and no bugs BUT the towels and sheets were still dirty. The shower was clogged so the water pooled while showering. Thin walls so bring ear plugs. I was in town for work so only there to shower and sleep. Shares space with a Motel 6, which is owned and managed by the same people. Try there for the extra $10 per night. Maybe they take better care of it bc of the brand affiliation. Of course i spoke to the Manager about all of this and bc I paid through Hotels.com he did nothing more than move my room.

Every room was smoky. I picked the room which was the least smoky but it still was difficult to breathe and when I got to my vacation destination the next day all my clothes were smoky and I had to wash everything. The clerk was friendly as was the pickup driver, though it took him an hour to pick me up. He said he didn't see me but still I had made several calls. It's inexpensive, has great cable and the clerk is nice. In the middle of nowhere. Other driver in the morning was very nice. Other than the smoke-ok. If you smoke and are traveling alone it's perfect. You decide.,

I paid and reserved a non-smoking room at the Red Carpet. Was told there would be a free airport shuttle (there was) and free parking (not so). I arrived at 1:30 in the morning and was given a smoking room at the Motel 6 next door. The sheets on the one bed were stained and dirty. When I pushed the bed aside to retrieve a dime, it was obvious the room had not really been cleaned in quite some time. My sinuses clogged up from the stale cigarette smoke. When I wanted to address the issues in the morning, management was non-existent till noon, when I had to leave, after I was overcharged further for long-term parking. Have requested a full refund. Only wanted the room for the free parking and the shuttle to begin with.

This was probably the dirtiest and outdated property we have every stayed. It sounded very unsafe as the people kept screming outside and our neighbors had music on all night long. We only stayed one night just because it was very close to the airport. Please do your self a favor and pay little more stay away from this facility.
