Comfort Suites West Warwick - Providence

Our check in was fine however during the night there a very loud group of people in a sitting area outside below our room around 1am that woke us up and then at 6am there was a car outside in the parking lot blaring hip hop music for quite a while that woke us up again. I would not stay in this area again.

One night stay for early flight the next morning.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The heat was difficult to adjust. The carpet throughout the building needs to be replaced, it’s basically brown and just doesn’t look clean. The desk clerk was not friendly. The coffee/tea station was out of tea bags in the early evening and I had to ask for some. The water in the thermos was not hot. It should be replaced on a regular basis. The breakfast room needs to be arranged. There are so many tables along the walls you can’t pull a chair out to sit as it hits the chair behind it. Breakfast was adequate. The parking lot was very dark and definitely needs some lighting.

The only redeeming quality was the size of the room and the price for it. The phone inside our room did not work at all, not even to call the front desk, the privacy deadbolt on the door did not function (it doesn't line up with the door jamb), we had to buy air freshener spray because the room had a dirty feet smell, and the elevator was 2 months over due for its annual inspection (it also got stuck on the 2nd floor and the door closed seperating us from our child). There were also large trucks parked across 4 or 5 spots of the already limited parking on both the front and back side of the hotel. The online booking showed an indoor pool, we were not notified until I asked at check in that it was closed for maintenance indefinitely.

Horrible there was a fight in the parking lot that ended up on the third floor where we stayed. It was like a rerun of Jerry Springer screaming at 1 o’clock in the morning.

The lady working the reception desk was great and the room was clean and cozy. My toilet was broke however. I had to lift the back off and manually pull the chain so it would flush. There was nobody at the front desk when I checked out so I had to lay my room key(s) near the phone. The unacceptable part was there were no parking lot lights at the front of the hotel. I have read other reviews stating the same thing.

NONE of the lights in the parking lot were illuminated, creating a safety issue for people and property Construction next door was very noisy. The breakfast offered was perhaps the worst we’ve seen.

Location was farther from airport and Providence than I realized, but decent facility, room was clean. I had an early flight and no one was at the desk to check out, called the number they had posted, no answer, so went back and left my keys on the room and left.

We've stayed here several times and it has always been clear, quiet and staff is friendly. Biggest plus for me is the quiet. For me there is nothing so annoying as a noisy overnight stay when you've been traveling all day.
