The only thing that i would give the 4 rating was day 2 of our stay. Seemed they short staffed. However, had plenty of timebto be on thier phones. I did tell them they were out of coffee when the 1st one went dry. Then the 2nd one was empty as well. I had my coffee and wanted to make sure other guests got thiers. Last time i stayed here i got double charged and took me an entire month to get my money back as they pointed at the travel site and vice versa. Hoping the same doesnt happen again

I've been blessed to have been able to travel extensively. This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at, by far. The staff was warm and welcoming. The accommodations were beautiful as well as super comfortable. I appreciated that room service was upon request, as the hotel was extremely conscience about being environmentally responsible. The breakfast bar was a lovely surprise with a good healthy selection of foods. The coffee was even exceptional.
Yet there was one thing that surprised and impressed me more than anything. The day we checked out, we came out of the room to see a cart filled with fresh clean comforters. All hotels have someone who changes your sheets and towels, but never once in my 67 years, have I seen a hotel that replaced the comforters as well. Some may think this is anti-environmental. But this is where Hampton Inn and Suites demonstrated that they care more about their guests well being than the impact of some extra laundry. This definitely made me want to make this chain's brand my new go-to for all of my travels.

What a great stay! It started with a very nice airport pickup by Steve. We were pretty tired from an 8am flight. He got us to the hotel minutes before the breakfast ended at 10am. The staff kindly let us grab some food. Also, they had a room ready for us and let us check in early with no issues. We were so happy do do that and settle in before going to our appointments (college tours) that day. The room was super nice and clean. Also, loved the Eco-friendlieness of refillable shampoo, etc. If our kiddo picks a college in Rochester we will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Took the kids for a night while we visited the strong museum and did some shopping. Close to target, dicks sporting goods, Walmart, Walgreens, Costco trader joes not too far away. Hotel was clean, kids enjoyed the indoor pool although I found it not warm enough and really foggy but that’s okay, I’ve been in colder pools. It’s open till 11pm which is awesome. The free breakfast is amazing! So pleased to see cheddar grits, a hot waffle bar which so much variety and choice, beds were comfortable and rooms clean. Staff were friendly and the best part is all day coffee and fresh cookies out for you! Will definately stay again! (Free parking and wifi were great too!!)

It was a quick stay for me as needed someplace near the airport. Room was clean and quiet. Staff was nice. Short drive to the airport in the morning. Would stay there again.

Took an hour to check in at 9:15 on a Saturday night b/c, according to the person behind the desk, who was not in uniform, their new system wasn't working properly. There was no manager working that night, which was a problem because they had charged me 62 bucks and change for no reason at all to a credit card that didn't belong to me. This man eventually disappeared into a back office - with a line of people behind me - to call a manager on his own cell phone (or so it seemed). When he returned he managed to get $50 removed but asked me if he could just charge $12 to a credit card that actually did belong to me, that way he could clear the system and then he would refund the money immediately. He never refunded the money, still trying to get it back. Can't get a manger on the phone several days later. Anyway, when we got to the room it was on the parking lot, which was loud that night, so I asked for another room. He couldn't give me one b/c they were sold out. Soooo... we park near the room in the back lot where the other employee working that night was getting high in his car. So to review - two people working on a sold out Saturday night, one stoned, the other one too new to understand the system or make any kind of a call on his own. Found out the next day that managers do not work on weekends - the busiest nights when the rooms cost the most. In the morning the buffet was out of everything hot, which is another management problem. Bad management - bottom line

Drove into town for a meeting, needed a place to crash for a few hours. Room was fantastic, spacious, clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Wonderful free breakfast offered as well, great selections. Safe location, plenty of free parking.

In transit stay for the night. Arrived at 530, easy registration. Plenty of parking. Loads of restaurants nearby and hotel provided a list. Room typical, clean, AC works, nice TV, and fridge and microwave were fine.

Not a great customer service experience, very unhelpful and uncaring. Be careful about spending extra money on this hotel for "Free Refunds", they will not honor it unless its 5 days before! So make sure to read the extra fine print especially well. Spent quite a bit of time on the phone being bounced around with customer service agents before getting routed to the manager the following morning. At that point it was less then 96 hours and was told that I could not get a refund for my stay. I requested a voucher to try to stay at the hotel since I travel to Rochester a few times a year but I was told that unless I was coming in the next month, they would be unable to help me. My phone experience would not want me to stay there simply because I felt not like a customer but just profit for them. I'll be staying at other Hilton properties in the Rochester area in the future, just not this one.
