Extended Stay America Premier Suites San Jose Airport

Toilet paper was just perched on top of the toilet because there was no holder. Floor didn’t feel all that clean under bare feet. Good location though for early morning flight out of San Jose airport.

When we arrived, we were told that there was no blankets for our pull out sofa and that they wouldn't be cleaned for another 5 hours, around midnight. This was unacceptable as we were travelling with young children who would need to be fast asleep by then. We found a bug in our bed as well. This trip, we stayed in motels much nicer with better accommodations. We will never recommend this property.

When we first arrived we were running late to check into our room because our flight was delayed. I called in to let the front desk know that we would be checking in late but they said we couldn’t checkin late so I contacted hotels.com and told them the situation so they could talk to the hotel to see what they could do. Thank goodness they we’re able to get us a late check in, we were able to get to our room and could get warm and relax at last. Thank god for hotels.com for being able to help alleviate the stress that comes from traveling and letting us enjoy the fun part of travel.

Easy parking, good location, affordable prices, convenient like a condo.

The easy (and free) parking is a very unusual feature in that part of San Jose. The price is an incredible value. The shower was strange in that there was no way to stop it from spraying water outside the shower into the bathroom itself They reduced costs in a lot of clever ways that did not make my stay any less pleasant. Front Desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Room included a queen size bed and a sleeper sofa, there were no sheets, blankets or pillows for the sleeper sofa. Requested them from the front desk, was handed a pile of sheets and they said "Sorry this is all we have." Got up to the room and discovered they had handed me two fitted sheets. Hallways were smelly and dirty with stained carpets. Other guests were loud. Lots of people loitering in the parking lot, trash cans overflowing. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. The room itself was clean and modern but will not be staying here again.

All floors smelled of foul odor, elevator didn’t work and I had my infant with me. Had to walk up 4 flights of stairs with stroller . Multiple dirty stains on couch and bed

This was my worst experience at a hotel ever. When I arrived late due to my flight, I had to wait 30 minutes and after calling a number 3 times for a person to come check me in. Then the staff was rude to me after I had to wait for them! The place itself is filthy. There were kids in the room above me banging and bouncing around for hours on end, days in a row. I specifically told them not to send cleaning service for my last day, but when I came back that evening, my door was open! I did not need a key to get in, yet the room was just as I had left it, definitely wasn’t cleaned and yet someone was in my room. I just hope it was the cleaning service and not someone else in my room. When I brought it to their attention, there was no apology or attempt to make it right, she just said it must have been cleaning service and that was it. Unprofessional, dirty, and unsafe! I definitely DO NOT recommend!

I felt like it was a hotel with guests and no hotel staff. There was not a person at the front desk 2 or 3 times when I needed something or had questions. The day I was checking out to go to the airport the elevator was not working so I had to take the stairs down to the ground floor. However, the exit door takes you out on to the sidewalk. I couldn't get back in to the hotel because the front doors were locked at 5:45am. Luckily, there was a maintenance man who happened to be in the lobby area. I knocked on the doors and he came over, didn't speak very good English but he eventually let me in when I showed him my room key. Overall, the hotel seemed clean, it was quiet at night, and it was fairly economical. The staff were helpful when I was able to speak with them but it just seemed like the hotel was running with very limited staff which can be frustrating if you need something. I travel for business and I guess I am just used to a more service-oriented hotel. I only stay for 1-3 nights in one city rather than an extended stay in one location.

The hotel room was really nice and clean ; has everything I need in a room and more.Free breakfast was almost good had they added few pieces of meat at least.I liked the proximity to the airport, the free shuttle service ( which only happens on weekdays...take note) , and the free breakfast.I really had a good night stay...will definitely recommend to friends as long as they keep these features in tiptop condition.
