We enjoyed our stay here. Location is close to the airport and the freeway. Breakfast is included. Having a sofa bed in our room was perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

Really great spacious room. Quiet. Spacious modern bathroom. Clean.
Complimentary breakfast was decent with cold and hot options (scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, waffles). Cereal, fruits, bagels, juices, milks.
Complimentary water/tea/coffee station all day in the lobby.
Only issue we had was parking. Hyatt House and Hyatt Place share a parking lot that's not big enough for both. On our second night, 30 cars had to park on fire lane curbs throughout the parking lot because all the parking spots are taken. Staff said that was okay and no one would be cited. Definitely not ideal, especially while paying $15/night to park.
This would be my hotel of choice in San Jose on subsequent visits.

We were told when we walked in the bar was closed because the bar tender called in sick. Upon entering our room there was a terrible smell and noticed food was left in the trash. The front desk girl was apologetic and offered us free water and gave us a new room which was much better. The next morning was an awful scene when trying to make our flight. The van was supppsed to pick up by 5:30 but did not until 5:40. We had a 6:30 flight and was told the 5am shuttle was full. Thankfully we made our flight but it was tight.

room was in spite of the lack of a bathtub.
for a hotel to not have rooms with bathtubs for those of us that prefer then to showers is odd. the 1 or 2 that have tubs have the bars for disabled people to use that make it almost impossible for a regular person to use
the really insulting part of the visit was the decal on the table about electronic cashless tips. they already add $15.00 a day for outside parking, that has a signs saying they are not for any damage or loss, then to ask for tips to add to the staff's wages is just another low blow. would be like a restaurant asking which section would you like to be seated in the 10% tip or 20% tip section before you are actually served. this is a Hilton approved sticker on the table

I needed a hotel with quick access to several freeways, centrally located, or located near the airport, and a reasonable cost. I was a little wary of the area, having lived in San Jose most of my life - however, it was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and over and beyond helpful. The hotel is close to the airport, easy access to 880 and 101, and the room was clean. The bed was comfy, and my room even had a cute chaise lounge couch and a desk that enabled me to work effectively. (My only critique is that while the desk lamp is stylish, it is not the most functional, but I was able to prop it up higher and was all good! I will definitely be back!

I was stuck in traffic for 4hrs due to the interstate closure and missed my flight. I was able to get a same day reservation at this location. Once I made it on site the staff was super understanding the stress of an unplanned extra day on vacation. they waived the parking fees, honored my Hyatt rewards (even though I didn’t book through them) and kept the bar open a little later so I could relax. I’m definitely going to stay here my next business trip

Asked for wake up call @ 4:45 am for early flight- never happened
