Overview

Hotel Indigo Spokane Downtown is a beautifully restored historic hotel with stylish, modern rooms and comfortable beds. Guests consistently praise the friendly and helpful staff and the high quality of the on-site restaurant. However, the hotel's location in a downtown area presents some challenges. Parking is limited and often requires valet parking (at an additional cost), and some guests have reported safety concerns due to the presence of homelessness in the surrounding area. Noise from nearby train tracks may also disturb light sleepers.

About the hotel

This smoke-free hotel features a restaurant, a 24-hour fitness center, and a bar/lounge. Free WiFi in public areas and free valet parking are also provided. Other amenities include a 24-hour business center, conference space, and concierge services. Housekeeping is available on request.

Stopped here because we were flying out of Spokane. Cool vibe inside. Rooms were sleek and modern. Close to restaurants

Staff were super nice and helpful. Location was awesome. Close to bakery, awesome coffee shop, organic açaí bowls, taqueria, I mean such good dining! The theater was walking distance and the river, so fun! The gym had what I needed to get a work out in, rooms were comfortable. Temperature control great. Could open some windows for some fresh air. Beds were comfy. Shower was nice, parking did end up costing us $60 for 2 nights, I felt like I would have wanted to know that ahead of time when I was shopping for rooms, but it was nice that you cold get the car as many times as you want and still only be charged the $30 a night. Otherwise meter parking. All in all, very happy with it and I would def stay there again.

Stayed here 3 times but no more. Room had the window painted over because there was a brick wall 3 feet away, bathroom barn door would barely roll, restaurant/bar prices are HIGH! Limited parking, needed to feed meter on street. 2 washcloths and 2 towels for 2 people is all you get. Only 1 hard desk chair to sit on. Did not enjoy stay this time, will not be back.

Hotel is fantastic. Staff is excellent , The area it’s in is sketchy at best and this hotel is literally next to a VERY busy railroad. There is no parking except on the street unless you pay for valet If this hotel and staff were in another location I would definitely stay again.

A great place in a convenient location. The only odd feature was a barn style door to the bathroom, which did not even close well and did not provide sufficient privacy when traveling with others, even family members. The parking situation could be disclosed better too. We had a good time (after embracing the bathroom door design). Great value for the price and location.

The hotel was beautiful, there was a lot of homeless people down the street. The restaurant in the hotel was amazing. They only have valet parking. My only issue is the desk forgot about bring my car around from valet, and I waiting a for quite a while before I went back inside to ask.

Beautiful and unique hotel downtown. Nice modern rooms with plenty of space! Bathroom shower is the best! If you have kids, there is no pool here and parking can be a hassle but still worth it and affordable rates!

We pulled up to the hotel. There street was filled with homeless people. Parking was street side. We did not feel safe. We did not stay. Found another hotel by the airport. People should be made aware of neighborhood before adding them to places to stay.

This is a beautifully restored historic hotel. The staff was amazing and made me feel comfortable. The breakfast was inexpensive and excellent with multiple meat choices biscuits, gravy potatoes and sweets. The valet parking was quick and convenient. The location was a safe walking distance to many venues in downtown.

The front desk clerks were great and the hotel is beautiful. Overall clean (with the exception of dirty vents in the room and dust on walls and some fixtures). Very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again but have decided to remove it from my list for 2 reasons: (1) we paid for valet parking in a secure lot because only paid meter street parking was available in an area full of homeless with visible drug deals going on; we were advised not to walk anywhere after dark in that area and had to Uber; (2) we paid $20 per person for an inedible continental breakfast. I do not typically make complaints, but I really was not impressed by those two issues combined.
