La Quinta Inn Tampa Airport Stadium Westshore

Complete disaster from the moment i walked through the door. Yes i was 11 minutes early for check in but was told very rudely that i needed to wait unless i was a rewards member. It was 11 minutes, come on. Dead bugs in room , had to get up at 4 am to catch a flight , turned on bathroom sink and was standing there and felt water on my feet , behold pipe broken under sink and water everywhere. Tried to take a shower next and zero , i mean zero hot water. Its 4 in the morning so cant use excuse that lots of others are using hot water. Pool area had zero chairs to sit at 2 tables that were in there and 4 of the loungers were broken and unusable. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Very dark property. Did not feel safe walking from room to office at night. First room did not have a working lock, but they did give me another room. Thin walls. Could hear people talking until the wee hours. People just hanging around in the parking lot. Bathtub bottom was spongy. Paint peeling off the walls. Airport shuttle was nice and on time. Driver was friendly.

Newly renovated room. Cleaned spotless. Temperature of room was perfect upon entry. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was better than expected. Staff very helpful and friendly. 2 mins to the airport!

We were unable to stay at the hotel. When we arrive, the hotel was closed and there were no accommodations available anywhere in or around Tampa. It was an incredibly awful time. We ended up sleeping in our rental car at the cell phone lot at the airport. We are expecting that we will get a full refund.

Terrible stay reservation did not show up and the front desk said they were booked. After a agonizing wait magic came and she found it. I saw myself sleeping on a bench at the airport. Plus the attitude was she didn’t care.not her problem. I will never stay in la quinta again

Great location and for the price not bad. Does in updates for the beds. And parking was an issue only cause the hotel was sold out so not much if you come later in the evening.

Cons: This hotel is under renovation, which I was not told of before booking or after because of the renovation. This hotel has no Wi-Fi. Neither of these were big deal for my family. I rented two Rooms. I was locked out of my room for three hours at midnight, so yes, I was laying On the concrete floor for three hours. In our renovated room, the air conditioner leaked causing a puddle on the new floor. To which the managers response was, she was sorry for the inconvenience Pros: The room was renovated and very nice. The pool was clean and available the overnight attendant who had to deal with my lockout issue was amazing the maintenance man who had to come at 2 o'clock in the morning to fix the lock also amazing. Other than the manager, I would say that the staff was amazing. The breakfast is what you expect from a continental breakfast so no complaints there they had Veteran parking, although it be one spot. Overall, I would stay here again

Overall a nice place to rest for the night, great distance from airport. Main complaint is the 3 days we stayed, they never had clean washcloths we could get.

Stayed on the last night of a 16day business trip mostly because it was so close to the airport and has the iHop to eat at since I turned in my car the evening before departing. I had noticed before booking this location more than a couple harsh reviews of this hotel but did not find conditions such to warrant those. No, it is not special or a place one would choose to stay long term but for what I needed it for it was just fine. Gonna mention that not having coffee in the lobby before 730 kind of sucked...there wasn't a soul in sight when I went for coffee at 5am so found the filters and grounds so made a pot myself.
