Nice, newer and affordable hotel for a beach trip. Good location between downtown, the beach and university. Near multiple car dealerships. No residential in the immediate area. Only complaint is there wasn’t enough parking. Some folks had to park on the street behind the building.

Location is pretty undesirable for driving. You're sandwiched into a triangle of three of the busiest intersections in Wilmington, with a driveway that only allows right turns, leading to a light that doesn't allow u-turns, with the back away out being inconvenient for travel in most directions.
Staff and service were great, other than waking us half way through our stay (3 times in the same day), to ask why we hadn't checked out - which was their error.
The building is quiet and nice. But once you look closer, everything is unfinished, missing pieces, or sloppily finished. This building is less than two years old and shouldn't have these problems! Missing trim, peeling trim, paint splatter, paint in curtains, pencil marks on ceilings from bad measurements, doors that don't close properly, and more.
It is still a nice facility, but you will feel cheapened if you spend enough time looking at the details.
The snack bar was well stocked and nice to have, until we bought them out of ice cream bars.

This room worked great for a girls trip with four of us. The two queen beds and pull-out sofa gave ample room. We did find dog treats and dog crumbs in the pull-out sofa. Our bathroom door (room 226) also stuck very badly which made it difficult to open/close the door. They don't provide room cleaning services unless your there for more than 5 days which is a bit annoying. I get that COVID changed things, but, the price of the hotel stay didn't change for them not to bring sheets/towels every day. We had to ask several times for new towels one day.
Overall, we would stay again. The hotel was generally clean, bug-free, and close to both downtown and the beach. We didn't travel with our furry friends but I love that this hotel is so pet friendly. However, it would just have been nice if we didn't find dog treats in the sofa.

We were disappointed with the level of cleanliness in our room. The guests before us clearly had a pet also stay and the room and couch were not vacuumed at a level that returned the room to a clean state for us. As more hotels become dog friendly perhaps floors dedicated for families with dogs traveling would help, or a better vacuum!

A nice room, spacious with full fridge, dishwasher. The curtain to divide from sofabed if traveling with kids. Room was pretty clean, which is become rare these days in half cleaning and short staffs. Only issue was very loud A/C - drown out tele & convo.
I appreciated location (convenient) despite traffic.
Layout in lobby a bit strange - you walk around or weave thru dining area to get to service desk, which a bit congested in mornings.
