Rodeway Inn & Suites Wilmington North

I booked this room because I was travelling by myself and it's the less expensive I could find. The room did not smell bad but a spider was next to the bed. And I could hear birds all night long and people talking. I think some live there. I did not really feel safe but nothing happened to me. The room is old and there are stains on the towels. I guess was clean but still. I don't understand how you can let a spider in the room and stains on towels. But overall was fine. The people at the front desk were nice.

Bath towel dusty or black lint on white towel. Water flow could turn thin stream but not off. Room phone not work; front desk said could not wake up call. Radiator hard to switch cool and heat. Room comfortable. Trip excellent. I needed economy to travel; great vacation.

Low rate. Near airport. Run down. Loud.

A lot of people hanging out in the parking lot. Gigs barking (even with no pets policy). Dingy towels and facecloths. Roaches (seriously?)

Honestly it was a decent place for the money. The staff was actually very nice and made effort to make sure the room suited my needs. They could really clean up the parking lot and should maybe crack down on what seems to be some drug activity. They could also do a little be of refacing . But overall it was worth what we paid.

Staff was very friendly. The priority and premises itself was not clean or in good shape. Big dumpster right in middle of parking lot with garbage all around it.

I would have gave it zero stars if it were an option. My sister and I traveled from NY and arrived way later than expected. So we were absolutely exhausted. We get to our room and first thing we noticed was the duvets on the bed were covered in cigarette burns. The beds had signs of bed bugs, although we didn't find any live activity, we tore the beds apart before lying down. The outlets had layers of dust and dirt on them, the walls had dry boogers on them next to and behind both beds. The refrigerator wasn't even plugged in and hadn't been for some time bc I opened it and it was riddled with mold and smelled like it hadn't even been opened in a very long time. This lead me to have to dump my breast milk down the drain which was upsetting. The lamp shades were covered in stains as well as the luggage bench beside the dresser. The room was absolutely filthy. And we got lucky enough to have a group of drunk dudes fighting right outside our room at 3 in the morning. So that was fun. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE who wants a good night sleep.

This was the worst hotel in which I have ever stayed overnight. It was extremely unclean. The bathroom door did not have a doorknob. it didn't matter because it would close in the door jamb before scraping tight to the floor. The internet was not working properly. The parking lot was very dirty. Overall, this place looks like it will be condemned soon.
