Hotel Conquistador Inn By US Consulate

Outdated the cleaning was ok, they would change the sheets and towels everyday, however bathroom walls and dust around bed was not touch. Older hotel no real amenities, also no shuttle available you had to pay to go anywhere. The amount I pay for cab rides I could have use to book a better hotel with shuttle included, closer the the consulate and the mall.

I liked that the hotel is close to the airport and consulate.

Our flight arrived earlier than expected and we went to the front desk to ask if we could check in early and the receptionist was so kind to find us a room to accommodate us.

We checked in on Monday night and checked out Friday morning. The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating - we were able to get a shower chair for my grandmother which helped greatly. Our key card stopped working mid-visit and they were able to fix that right away too. They were also able to give us a room on the first floor to be better accessible to my grandma. The cleaning and maintenance staff was also very kind and friendly. They were very attentive to our needs and were quick to offer any assistance. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast from 7 to 9am which is absolutely appreciated and alleviates the stress of having to worry about that first thing in the morning. The shop at the hotel is open til 10:30pm and has everything from snacks to toiletries to souvenirs. They even have beer, which you may need when dealing with the stress of the residency process. They also offer complimentary taxi’s to the consulate, and the clinics and centers you’ll need to visit for your immigration needs. All in all the hotel was able to take some of the stress off. I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s best to pay your deposit in cash if you’re worried about any charge holds on your card.

The property is close to the US Consulate and the taxi service to and from the Consulate was convenient. Also, the hotel staff were generally helpful and friendly. The breakfast from Monday through Saturday was ok, but there is no breakfast availabile on Sundays. - There was used toilet paper in the waste basket in the bathroom when my fiance checked in. He stayed in the hotel for 12 days and the trash can was never emptied. The window in the room would not close completely, therefore the heater never was able to adequately heat the room.

Would only recommend to stay there 2 nights max, I ended up staying 5 nights since I was already there and didn’t want to move all my stuff around; the staff is super friendly and very helpful, the front desk people told me that Expedia charged me a ton of money extra and would recommend to call the hotel directly first before booking through Expedia the ladies that serve the complementary breakfast are so nice. The property itself is very safe and is a 7 mins walk to the consulate (taxis are free to take you there but they take longer since there’s a lot of traffic in the area I would recommend to walk) even though the hotel is a no smoking hotel people do smoke and the smell is very bad additionally the rooms aren’t very clean and they AC units are very lounge you can sleep at night because they’re so loud, the second and third night for some weird reason there was some sort of alarm going off in some nearby build that would go off around 11am and would not stop through the night and could not sleep, the fourth and fifth night the power kept going off in the building. Overall the stay was decent but would definitely recommend to either stay there 2 nights max or go stay somewhere else.

We stay for 8 nights services was great everyone friendly free breakfast restaurant food delicious and clean good price taxis service great and safe we will definitely stay again here I give them 10/10

This hotel was wonderful. From the staff on the inside to the taxi drivers stationed outside to the staff in the restaurant. Everyone was so nice and helpful in a stressful time in a family. They celebrated the ups and empathized with the lows. Will definitely stay here again.

Costumer service is excellent, they have a restaurant and a store with everything you need which is very convenient, they have taxis available all day and they also offer trips to El Paso Texas, very quiet, friendly, clean and safe.
