Good Hotel London

Check in was slow.. Enjoyable stay, was noisy outside, i was street side, but i slept really well, beds were really comfy.. just wish there was a tv in room as i was a solo traveller and wasnt much to do after the convention was over. Only one plug for kettle to have a coffee which was under desk. Didnt have breakfast as i felt £46 on hotels.com was too much for 2 nights, so took to getting breakfast opposite at Tesco. £4.50 for a coke!! £6.50 for a beer. Its a pretty looking hotel, very compact and friendly staff. This is still one of my go to hotels in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Good Hotel London, and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I arrived, the friendly and amazing staff made me feel welcome and at home. The location is perfect, offering easy access to all the great attractions in London. The room was spotlessly clean and had a fantastic view. Although it was a bit on the smaller side, it was perfect for solo travelers or couples, offering a cozy and comfortable space. One of the highlights for me was the co-working areas. As someone who needed to get some work done during my stay, these spaces were incredibly convenient and well-designed. The vibe of the place is just wonderful – it has a relaxed, yet energetic atmosphere that makes it a joy to be there. I absolutely loved every moment of my stay and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting London!

We chose the Good Hotel as it was close to the O2 arena. It was only a couple of minutes walk from the cable cars that take you over the river and so was in a perfect location. On arrival the reception staff were really helpful and friendly and we had a smooth check in on line.It was also useful that we could leave our luggage and return once our rooms were ready. We travelled as three couples and they very kindly put us all in rooms next to each other. We didnt have breakfast during our stay but we had drinks in the lounge area and up on the roof top terrace which had amazing views. The rooms were clean and well equipped, they were a little on the small side but suitable for one nights stay.

I had a one night stay during an exhibition at London ExCel. The hotel is conveniently located, just an easy 5 minute stroll away. My room faced the water, which was lovely to wake up to. Unfortunately it is right under the flight path of planes leaving London City Airport, which is inevitable for this location but nonetheless it was very noisy. The room was tiny which was fine for a trip of this type but the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. If you are a larger person I would avoid staying here. The staff were all friendly and the place was clean so I would stay here again.

Rooms are generally clean but poorly insulated and soundproofed, to the point where you can hear someone cough (amongst other things) in the room next door. The hotel room doors have a strange alarm that sounds when they are opened, i get this is a security measure but with such poor sound insulation between rooms and the corridors it’s quite annoying when guest leave for breakfast at different times through the morning. The other thing to mention is that the hotel is very close to an airport runway so the sound of planes coming in to land is also disturbing. They do provide ear plugs as standard in the rooms which shows they are aware of the problem. However, I wish I had known of the problem before booking as I would always prefer not to sleep with ear plugs. The bathrooms are very small and have seen better days but otherwise the room was comfortable. Staff are very hit and miss, some are highly professional and efficient and some had a general ‘couldn’t care less’ vibe about them.

A former container converted. We had a “best” room with water view so plenty of space but sadly NO rooms have opening windows or TVs. If travelling from Greenwich via the cable car be mindful of last “flight” time.

The hotel hasn’t made adequate provisions for parking so we had to park the car 3 miles away. The roads are being dug up for the new Thames tunnel so it took a taxi 15 mins which added £26 to our stay plus the inconvenience only to be refused a discount or refund on our booking. The ‘room’ is a tiny cabin and sound resonates so all in all a bad experience. Don’t stay here - plenty of better places to stay

Very average hotel but close to London city airport.

Stayed here for one night with my daughter in a twin room last week. The reception staff were very friendly and let us drop off our luggage while we went into the centre of the city. When we came back later in the afternoon, checkin went smoothly and our room was very comfortable. We weren’t expecting a huge room as per the description but it was perfectly adequate and there was enough space for our small cases and to move about freely. We had a drink on the rooftop bar in the sunshine and ate dinner in the restaurant. The food was very good and an ok price for a London hotel. There are plenty of restaurants a short walk from the hotel if you fancy eating out. The beds were very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was small but had everything you need. I know some people have commented on noise and the walls being thin, but we didn’t hear any neighbours or noise from the corridor. The location was great for London City airport and easy travel into the city centre by DLR or tube or the new Elizabeth line. I would definitely stay there again if flying into City.

Where to start with this hotel if you can call it one it’s more a hostel Bedroom was freezing there is actually a breeze coming through the wall all night woke up with a cough and bad neck from the cold No tv in the room how can it call itself a hotel with the lack of basic amenities Room not clean dust everywhere light fittings caked Bed is paper thin springs and right next to the freezing window Room is noisy so much so in the bathroom there are complimentary ear plugs ! Non of which is listed on their listing Carpet is thread bare in the room Bathroom is so small can’t get behind the door to the shower without being a gymnast simply the worst hotel I have ever stayed in , I love quirky hotel but this hotel misses the mark at every level perhaps apart from it has great street presence I can think of many other adjectives than good to describe this hotel especially if travelling for work
