Comfort Inn

Did a one night stay at this property on our way North from Florida. Found property to be well kept with clean and well maintained bathroom and bedroom areas. Parking was easy and a hot breakfast was served in the morning. If you’re traveling with kids, property was accommodating and included an outdoor pool. Shopping and offsite restaurants are close by. This property is great for a short or medium long stay.

Easy access while traveling. Nice clean modern room and at a good price (highest rated hotel in the nearby vicinity).

Easy to find off our route. McDonald's across parking lot was convenient. Nice view of river behind. Room was clean. Breakfast was good.

Right off the interstate plenty of parking.

As with all hotels, the floor in the room always turns my socks brown but otherwise, a decent hotel. Felt safe and it was quiet. We traveled with two toddlers. All was fine. The coffee machine at breakfast was fabulous; it made me a frothy latte that made my morning. They had hot breakfast foods like eggs and sausage as well as the usual staples. Nice seating area. Matt at the front desk was nice.

We were on our way driving South and needed a good rest for 1 night. The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable bed and good towels. TV could use some work for a clear picture but were only briefly watching morning news.

We stayed one night on our way through to NC. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was on the first floor and was clean and very comfortable. The sheets were amazing for a hotel bed! The walls are a bit thin and we could hear the room next to us talking briefly. The worst was that they were up at 2:30am getting ready and we could hear the shower go off and on as everyone was getting ready. Would not have been an issue if it was a more normal time in the morning. The breakfast was typical continental with the waffle station, pastries, and cereal. They did offer scrambled eggs and sausage as well. There was an attendant so every thing seemed to stay in stock. We would stay here again, but knowing we are taking a risk with who we end up next to.

I do a lot of traveling being retired.This last trip I stayed at 3 different hotels.The Comfort Inn @Charleston WV was by far the best overall hotel I have stayed in.I am retired military and when I say this hotel was clean and spotless! The beds were the most comfortable I have slept in. Being located next to the interstate I slept like a baby no noise! We left early so I cannot rate breakfast but was offered muffins when we left.Also this was the lowest priced hotel I have stayed at in a very long time. 5 stars!

We needed an inexpensive hotel while traveling cross country to a funeral and this was the perfect place. The hotel is updated. The breakfast was good. The desk staff was wonderful and very considerate of locating us on the first floor after we mentioned that we were bringing our bicycles into the room. We will keep this hotel at the top of our list for the next cross country trip.
