Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Charleston WV

Close to all areas I wanted to visit, clean, good parking and great staff.

Staff was friendly and professional. The hotel was very clean, organized, and offered ample parking. The breakfast suited our needs. You can walk anywhere from 0.2-1 mile and have a plethora of dining and shopping options. I recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again if I’m ever in the area.

Only stayed for one night while traveling but it was a nice stay. It was relatively close to the downtown area. Would recommend.

The area around this hotel seems very sketchy. Very industrial, a number of wandering individuals coming into the parking lot. Although the hotel was okay and the best deal for this region, I am not certain I would stay again.

I had a nice stay here twice about a week apart as I made a trip east. It was fairly easy to find and there was a short drive to fast food nearby. The staff were lovely -- the first stay, many guests all showed up at the same time, and the gal behind the desk was patient and friendly. She remembered my name when I saw her later that evening. The gentleman in the mornings remembered me when I came through on my second stay. Breakfast was "meh" - no hot options, and I didn't bother the first time. The second stay I did grab some instant oatmeal. The area seems a bit scary...maybe? Woman traveling alone so I just was aware of my surroundings. Overall though, I had two very good nights sleep and the location was great for my trip. I would stay here again.

The location is sketchy and doesn’t look appealing to the eye when you pull up. It has no landscaping and not much parking space. The businesses around it doesn’t look too good either. It’s very blah

Good, clean hotel in a convenient location near downtown Charleston, W. Va. Was able to check in quickly identify local restaurant and bar options and travel downtown for some food and beverages. As a bonus we got to see the city on foot. Good hotel for a stopover on the road home.

Easy access to interstate..breakfast is good but could use sausage and eggs or sausage gravey and biscuits..we have stayed during our travels to Tennessee

There was no electricity the entire time I was there. A bad storm had just come through. I feel in this case I should have been able to cancel my reservation and get at least part of the cost refunded. I had to make the reservation at the same day as my stay because my husband was transferred to the local hospital for a heart problem.

The nice looking woman at the front desk was pleasant and very helpful. The rooms are nice although mine was on the small side ( I guess that's why they call it Microtel). The bed was comfortable and the bathroom in good condition. Overall, a good stay and close to the highway so convenient for travelers.
