Quality Inn & Suites

Hotel was well located to take in much of the area. Literally right across the street from the Clay Center and Planetarium. Many great restaurants and Pubs nearby. Rooms were recently remodeled. Easy access to the Interstate and plenty of parking. Staff was awesome and loved their jobs! Definitely would stay there again when we visit Charleston, WV

Breakfast was decent and in good quantity. Housekeeping was pleasant. Room was fairly clean upon check in. Hallways smelled odd, location was not great and parking lot not in good condition.

I have stayed at other hotels in the area to make an early flight at Charleston airport. This hotel was the cleanist and safest place I have stayed compared to the rest. As a woman traveling alone, saftey and security is a big concern. I was impressed by the very nice lady at the desk and her concern for the safety of the guests at the hotel. I will stay here again when the need arises to fly out of Charleston.

Over all, I am VERY pleased with my stay. The hotel was very clean (visually and by smell--no strange odors) and very pleasing to the eye. Really the only complaint I have is the amenities need to be updated/kept updated for availability. I try my best to book hotels with a pool, as we travel for softball tournaments and my daughter likes to relax in one after a long, hot day of ball. We did not know the pool was "closed until further notice" until we pulled into the parking lot. Not a huge deal, just would have liked to have known in advance.

If you have an other options, don’t stay here. Unsafe parking lot, dirty carpets, pieces of wall missing with electrical exposed. Room had graffiti on nightstand. Police came running into hotel in the middle of the night. Staff was friendly but this hotel is falling apart. Definitely not worth the rate paid!

I'm older so after traveling over 6 hours I expected to rest for the last leg of the journey. Check in was a breeze. The desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating. That is the last good thing I have to say. The room had a giant roach, toilet was running apparently from the last flush {whenever that was}, and the phone didnt work when I tried to call down to the front desk. I was tired and finding a new hotel wasnt feasible to me. I went back down to the clerk who gave me another room. This one was better but the mattress had a dip in the middle, the carpet around the baseboards were gray from old dust and dirt. So I felt itchy and uncomfortable all night. But hey, the A/C worked! So I drove the next day on catnaps for 6 hours a horrible feeling.

Requested non smoking room. That’s all you could smell in the entire hallway was cigarettes. The room was ok enough for cleanliness. I have been in a few quality inns and this one was my least favorite. I do a lot of traveling so I usually
