This place is awful. We stayed one night prior to flying out of Cleveland. Biggest mistake ever. We arrived later at night and there was nobody at desk to check in. Sign said to call number and they will come. I stood there at least 15 min and called MULTIPLE times. No answer. Finally after leaving and coming back, some young man stumbled from back mumbling and checked me in. There were so many people (obvious long term residents) smoking at entrance and walking in and out of front. We witnessed a drug exchange at a car on the side entrance as we walked in. It stinks terribly. I felt so gross staying here. My kids even commented on how stinky and gross the hotel was. Seems to be a lot of sketchy people staying here. Would never recommend to worst enemy.

The hotel is old and run down..the service is lacking. Don't book this hotel if you plan on showing up after Midnight or they'll mark you as a no show and you'll have to rebook. Our flight was delayed and couldn't get to the hotel until 1am and they marked us as a no show and had to purchase a new room. I'd never had a problem with Extended Stay before but this will be the last time I stay there. Book somewhere else if you have the option.

This hotel was close to the airport. It had a kitchen that we didn't use. We left before breakfast, so not sure how that was. It was clean and maintained.

The first room I was offered literally smelled, very strongly (maybe of mildew?) To their credit, the staff immediately switched me to another (larger and nicer) room without any push-back and apologized. The new room was much better but still smelled just a tad odd. The property is clearly a bit old, worn, and dim, although I didn't see any signs of visible uncleanliness. The exercise room is small but clean and the machines worked fine. There's plenty of parking and one can walk to a Walmart and a couple of restaurants (and drive quickly to a very, very large number more restaurants and shops). I wouldn't stay at this property if I were looking for a spa weekend :), but as an economical place to do some work in off hours and sleep comfortably, it worked.

Did not know silverware was going to cost extra to have in the room. I went to make my food and could not eat it. I had to leave property to get a meal late at night because front desk did not have anything. Also wish there was a safe in the room as I travel for work.

The employee who checked me in was the absolute worst. From the beginning when I arrived at 3am due to my flight being delayed she was rude. I explained to her this and was still willing to pay the $100 charge necessary to check in because I was so tired. She had a nasty attitude not with me but all customers of color. The next day when I was entering the hotel a man was asking my friend a question and she left behind her desk to rush and tell them they are not allowed to talk or park near the door. She also made it her issue to tell me I cannot have alcohol in the lobby, because I was walking in with an open drink although it was apparent I was going straight to my room I was just waiting on my friend before getting on the elevator. She showed no form of customer service, no communication skills and I would recommend the manager IMMEDIATELY remove her because she will continue to build a nasty report for customers like myself going forward.

My sister and I came out of town for a wedding and the room we did reserve down the road double booked us and didn’t have a room which is how we ended up at extended stay America. I wish I read the reviews because after checking in I noticed the terrible smell in all the halls and a lot of sketchy people lurking around. It turns out this is also the kind of hotel that allowed people on public assistance to also stay here for but yet charge travelers $150 a night to be surrounded by a bunch of homeless people.

Stay away from this place! As soon I walked in the lobby smelled of marijuana. The front desk attendant was not present. I had to use a lobby phone to call an extension to get her to come out of a room to check me in. Once in our room it just kept getting worse. Found an old dirty rag that had turned orange from sitting there so long. The smoke detector was hanging off the wall. As my kids were taking their showers I decided to get the pullout sofa bed ready. As soon as I pulled it out I about vomited. The shape of that mattress was uncalled for. I showed the front desk last AFTER having to call her again on the lobby phone. She just said “ok so are you leaving” and started to check me out. I was traveling with 3 of my children by myself and it was 10pm at night with no nearby hotels available. I asked for another room and was told they were sold out. We all had to sleep in the one bed for the night. In the morning I found that the mattress covered has mold on it as well. I spoke with the general manager, Steve in the morning who did not care about the shape of the room and brushed it off. I was able to find a different hotel available and checked out early. Hopefully the other rooms are not in this shape but if they are the board of health needs to shut this place down.
