Extended Stay America Suites El Paso Airport

I booked last minute (same day after check in time) before our flight was getting ready to take off. Our flight ended up being canceled and we didn't make it to our destination where the hotel is. Extended stay America would not refund my money even though it was not my fault that I couldn't check in due to my flight. They stated that I didn't cancel before check in time and so they could not cancel my booking; it didn't even matter to them that I booked it after check-in time and could never have canceled it according to their policy. So they made me pay $90 for a room that I didn't even see on a property I've never even been to before. Personally, I'm boycotting them AND hotels.com which was no help in getting my money back.

The room was okay. We expected breakfast but instead ya'll served granola bars. I don't drink coffee but their wasn't any other drink to drink. Not even water. The only time i traveled without my hair dryer ya'll didn't provide one. When we got in people were drinking in the parking lot. A little while later a few guys were arguing outside our window. I didn't feel safe. I kept looking outside to make sure my car was okay.

Rooms are clean. Short commute to airport. Hotel advertised as breakfast included. Breakfast was terrible. Only 3 coffee pots and some packets of Quaker Oats. That's all for grab and go breakfast!!! Breakfast in other hotels I have been to have at least have toast, sausage and eggs. It should not advertise breakfast included and remove that breakfast section.

Great place close to the airport. Full kitchen, clean, ac, and more tv channels than I have at home. Bus stop right across the street took me downtown. Walmart, movie theater and mall and other shopping in the nearby area. Perfect stay.

Overnight stay to head to airport early. The toilet dud not flush, had to get a plunger from the front desk and use it everytime we went to the bathroom. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The carpet had gum stains. The smoke detector had plastic bags over it. The breakfast was not set up at 6 am.

Easy and convenient is very close to the airport.

This is a good inexpensive motel that is really dated, but has good beds for an overnight stay. It's about $8 for an Uber from the airport. Some articles, such as a coffee maker, can be rented in the lobby for a price. If you want an auto rental, Hertz is in the center of the small strip mall next to the motel. The strip mall also has fast food places and a hard spirits store.

Solid two stars. Towels and linens weren’t very clean. Convenient location close to airport, but no shuttle available.
